I really disliked how quickly Kiriha changed from "I'll kill you" to "Let are powers combine". Deckerdramon was happy to have Kiriha as his General, even though Kiriha put him on death's door. Kiriha's regret and sadness was fitting, to be honest, and allowing X7 to form makes up for trying to kill Deckerdramon. The entire episode was dedicated to changing Kiriha's mindset.
