Guest PikaPerson01
Back when I was your age, cards like Torrential Tribute, Mirror Force, Needle Ceiling and Lightning Vortex were respectable choices when building a deck. Likewise, even broken cards like Gyzarus, Judgment Dragon, and Heavy Storm would see a lot of play, due to the fact they were keenly able to punish over extension. Now everything sucks. ._. Discuss Starlight Road or don't, IDC.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Overpowered card that promotes overextending and thus bad playing (paraphrasing Flame Dragon).
Dr. Cakey
The only pity is it stops Torrential. And Heavy, too. It should say "This card cannot be chained to "Torrential Tribute" or "Heavy Storm"."

burnpsy
Seriously, I find mass bouncing now outperforms mass destruction. I've actually stopped Synchro Summoning Black Rose Dragon altogether because of Starlight Road. Giant Trunade is now a relevant deck choice. evilfusion
...are you kidding? Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute, Mirror Force, Offering to the Snake Deity/Icarus Attack, Judgment Dragon, Mobius, etc. Any card that can nuke 2 of your cards, including your own card, can trigger this. It wouldn't be nearly as overpowered if it didn't summon a Stardust Dragon. Even though that Stardust wasn't Synchro Summoned and can't be revived once its gone, bringing out a 2500 monster that can negate another destruction effect...that's just wrong. Mr. Judgment Dragon
Limit Stardust Dragon You best be trollin'. Banworthy. It allows overextension to be a lot less risky. Sure you can play around it and sure it counters broken cards like Gyzarus and Judgment Dragon but the whole countering banworthy cards woth other banworthy cards doesn't do it for me. The fact it summons a 2500 ATK point beatstick that gets a one-time destruction negation just seals its banworthiness.

Flame Dragon
The thing that really makes this ridiculous is that you get a free 2500 beatstick out of it. With out that it's on par with most card negaters.
Rise of the Eldrazi
I have a friend who runs a Stardust Deck wtih 3 of these. Only reason I was able to win was because JD can runover Stardust instead of nuking. OT: Card is broken and banworthy.
Flame Dragon
Why is every one calling this broken and banworthy? As I said removing the Stardust part of its effect puts it on par with most other negaters, Dark Bribe being the first to come to mind. Since Stardust is ban worthy in it's own right this doesn't need to be touched
Zauls
This card has ruined the game. People are now running a load of one for one destruction because of it but people are still running Starlight to be safe. Then, people will realize that people are only running one for one destruction so they will neg their SLR, so people will start running mass destruction again, so people will start running SLR again, so people will start running one for one destruction again, so people will stop running SLR again, so people will start running mass destruction again, so people will start running SLR again, so people will start running one for one destruction again, so ARGH YOU GET THE POINT! Toffee.
Konami wanted to simplify the game to an extent that people actually use all 5 of there Spell/Trap Zones, instead of getting "owned"(loltopdeckheavystorm) because they wanted to use a 3rd spell/trap zone?lolwut? Limit Stardust DragonBut its the main card used my Yusei. Are you crazy?

.Gideon.
Cheap cards that rapes your field deserve a punishment. watching your field gets easily and "cheaply" raped by Gyzarus, Icarus, JD is not so nice I see SLR as one of the best cards printed so far, bcuz it made the game kinda balanced..., now ppl can use strategies and skills to clear the field, which is a good thing to the game and yeah it has to be OPd and grants instant advantage for the user so that the opponent will think twice before using a cheap field-clearing card like heavy, icarus, JD, BRD, etc .... SO STOP WHINING AND COPE WITH IT U CHEAP BASTEDZ

Both players lose two cards.) Moving from getting raped by cards that kill your field to getting raped by a swarm of monsters you can do nothing about is not balance because we've gone form one extreme to another

They're all decent, to some degree, and far from bannable. However, they all trigger Starlight Road. Not only are you 'punishing broken cards' with this card's release, but you're punishing many perfect alright and not at all broken cards.
