When was the last time any of you played the TCG? What would it take you to duel [Post 38]?

Lets see shall we? Another small but noticeable problem in RC. I'll detail it later. But for now, I'm curious.

Just out of curiosity. What would it take to get you [b]ALL[/b] to be able to duel?

A sprite based game like Duel Monsters Genesis (download required)?
A Browser Based Game like Yugioh Network?
Would it need Customs?
What exactly would motivate you to Duel along side each other?

It was a LONG time ago. I played with some friends with a mixed up deck, while I couldn't afford to buy a pack, so I used Yusei's deck, and kept winning with it. I lost some games, but I won a lot too. But I guess I will retire in card collection and dueling. It was about a year ago when I still dueled with my custom deck.

Yesterday. A few duels running one of my friend's decks, not up to date with meta but just casual play. A Normal Monster/Synchro Deck. Also messed around making a Monarch deck.

A month ago or so. Deck I've mainly been using is Chaos Anti-Meta. Still going to use it for the September Format as well. Not really a fan of Meta, so I run Tier 1.5 Decks for the heck of it. Decks I'm currently working on is Happy Herald and Fabled World. DARK, LIGHT or Chaos based Decks is what I usually run.

hmm, 7 years ago i used a random deck from random cards. 2-3 year later i started using an elemental hero deck, though i never dueled with it XD. now i'm dueling on YVD with a fairy deck.

About every Wednessday at the ?Libarry? play with really anyone who comes friends strangers personell who ever. Some times made up turnys it's great.
Current decks I use but I all ways build a new one before I go back to the ?Libarry? are A deccent Worm Deck and a deck about well It has a bunch of Water monsters in it but I gusse a Gagigigo Deck.

Last week. I have a group of 4 friends or so I usually play with, and I play casual matches between rounds at locals.

When I got back into the game a couple of years ago, I ran a random crap deck, and lost to my friends a lot. Then I bought the Dark Emperor structure deck, and started winning. My friends all hate RFP now.

I used to run frogs (built them before they were meta), but now that they're dead, that's over. My RFP deck is on the bench until Starstrike Blast comes out. I run Psychics, Koa'ki Meiru, and a deck I call "GadgetTownMach7". My friends all hate Machines now.

As a side note, I really liked playing with a group of 8-9 friends in HS. We all had different decks, and none of them were meta, so the game was actually fun.

I Used mostly non-themed Synchro-focused decks, but also had some nice experience with Lightsworns and Warrior Toolbox, as well as some burn decks long ago.

I dueled irl two weeks ago. One of my irl decks is Zombie. The others are Fairy/Crystal Beast and WATER. I play more on YN which I have a Stun D.D. Deck and a Dragon Deck.

Around when Phantom Darkness came out was the last time I ever played the TCG.

I had a Jack-Of-All-Trades deck that was built to handle just about anything it faced. I also had a decent Gravekeeper deck and a WATER Beatdown/Lockdown deck.

Haven't played the TCG since.

I usually duel my mate. Before I lent him my best cards, I was constantly winning. Then we made our own rules and I destroyed his Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon (the one with 5000 ATK) without my best deck.

At least... 7 or 8 years ago I guess. After the Pokèmon card disaster (I blew approx. 200 DM (Deutsche Mark, translates into ~100 Euro) on those), I swore to myself never to collect Trading Cards again. And this still holds true to this very day. So since I never owned any cards, the last time I played with a mate at his place. We just threw all cards he had together and then we drew one after another until we had 50 or 60 and started. We didn't knew anything about chains, and what a "Quick-Play" Spell Card is, but we had fun, and that was all that matters. Most of the time he won, because I liked to choose my cards by appearence, not by strength, but that didn't matter because I enjoyed every win twice that much

I used to play some YGO game on a friends Gameboy Advance though, maybe 2 years ago, but that was against the CPU and pretty boring.

Oh, and adding to my post, I was using my Synchron deck and my Grinder Golem control deck in the duels, and my opponent was using a Naturia deck, which was based on using Natura Mosquito's effect.

It did amazingly well for such a weird bunch of cards!

With real cards? Hm, a few weeks ago. My IRL is a deck that thinks it's Chaos but doesn't have any good LIGHT monsters...or good DARK monsters. I've also used some custom decks I printed out, for teh lulz. On the other hand, I've played DMG just about every day (this is summer, after all), getting steamrolled by people who actually build [i]good[/i] decks.
