Man-Eater Bug

Ah, Man-Eater Bug, just gotta love it, what would yugioh be without ya.

It's probably one of the most useful cards in the game, I may play a Dragon Deck but I STILL have this in my deck, there is no deck I would EVER make without Man-Eater Bug

This thing can kill almost any monster in the TCG (note I said almost), an instant solution to Yubel, Five-Headed Dragon, and others.

Basically, this card can slay the seemingly unslayable

And it has a nice upgrade

Now all konami needs to do is make some support for it.

Old Vindictive Magician is better.

but then again, that card can only destroy one of your opponents monsters, Man-Eater Bug is able to destroy one of your own monsters as well, so he can get rid of something like "Lava Golem"

Aaaaaaannnddd Tee-See has a Scrub Format.
Knew it.

....To be honest, I find Penguin Solider to be a lot better then Man Eater Bug.

Nobelman would have been hilarious if it were a level 4, but heaven forbid an Insect-type monster be able to net you a +1 without any real effort >__>

I proudly own a Super Rare version of this card (which is sadly the only good stuff I got from the Legendary Collection). I want to use it so badly >.<"

Man Eater is awesome xD but its outclassed by a ton of stuff that's more awesome. I think it can stop Shapesnatch OTK =P [/not sure if "sarcasm" is the actual correct term for this statement]
Anyways. Its... fun

You serious?

Wow this guy's really serious.

Yeah, I know, everyone runs Yubel or FHD.

Hey, heard of Ryko?

And it has a nice upgrade

I don't think 'nice' is the word. How about terrible?

Now all konami needs to do is make some support for it.

What.

I think man-eater bug is better than his upgrade, but when my opponent uses it (with cards like yomi ship, old vindictive mage, night assailant...) I throw away my deck and hit him.
This card can ruin any strategy, as previously said, Five Headed Dragon, Yubel, Dark Paladin, Horus LV8...

His upgrade, if I'm not mistaken, needs to have 2 other monsters on the field to activate his effect, wich complicates things a little more.
Of course, man eater bug can destroy cards on your side of the field too, wich can be helpful to summon the Yubel Ultimate Nightmare,as an example.

Well, this is a great card when we use it, and a nightmare when our opponents use it.

Use multiple copies of Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Red Eyes Wyvern in your Deck and see how your FGD stops dying =P
If you can't protect Dark Paladin or Horus LV8, I think you should take them out of your Deck. In any case, playtest that xD

When I have used Yubel, I usually either let my opponent do the "destroying" part, or I destroy it with Limit Reverse, which also does the job of Special Summoning Yubel.
BTW, want to know something fun about Yubel? since its an optional effect (the one where you bring out the next one after killing the previous), Ryko says no and kills Yubel for good. After destroying, Ryko must mill 3 cards, making Yubel's optional evolving effect miss the timing.

Well, this is a great card when we use it, and a nightmare when our opponents use it.
