Broken? Not even remotely. It requires a specific type of Tuner, of which only like two exist. It needs two non-tuners in addition, equaling level ten. It has 4000 ATK, and can make itself immune to S/Ts for your turn. If your opponent destroys it, wait until the End Phase and remove a Specific type of Tuner to revive and draw. And yea, you make sense. I guess I was thinking that large stats coupled with Spell/Trap protection, draw power, such and such made it a tad powerful. The costs do even it out. Too much investment into such a lolzy beatsteack makes the playability of [s]the entire Nordic Archetype[/s] this card next to nothing. evilfusion Posted January 15, 2011 Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 Thor has the advantage in that Polar Star Beasts have good synergy and more cards to the "archetype". That's because Dragan was the first Wheeler and had to use only his cards to fight. Brave just used Thor and Traps for most of his duel, bringing out Loki near the end. And Harald brought out Odin and then just kept attacking with the three Polar Gods. Therefore, Polar Star Spirits/Loki, and Polar Star Angels/Odin have the least support. I liked the anime version better, which just required two discards, not two specific cards being removed from your hand when your opponent has monsters and you have no other monsters, spells, or traps. Both of the people mentioned in this post were slaughtered because they lost half their cards at once and ran out of monsters in-hand. The moral of the story is: Vanadis of the Nordic Ascent.
