Resident Fascist
It's pretty much necro gardna except that it doesn't work in bushi... eh... It's ok... I guess...

The Sleeping Dude
lol can't understand OCG and it really has the identical effect with necro gardna except with that lose 500 ATK. might be limited in the future but i think it is WATER (most likely to be i think) so he might get to avoid the combo cards so he might stay on 3 for a while unless Konami decides to make a card to make it abusable (lol so much theoretical words)

Boss Z
Damn it... They changed the effect and made it So much better (blocks attack targets at anything as opposed to Fish-, Sea-Serpant-, and Aqua-Types)... but it decreases less (went from 700->500)... but this means that its going to get semi'd or limited... if only because of Lightsworn (which I know aren't Top Tier, but the use it much more then Shark Does) And it has 1500 DEFNvm: the Current Effect remains: When a face-up Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monster you control is selected as an attack target, activate by banishing this card in your Graveyard. Negate the attack of that attacking monster, and until your next End Phase it loses 700 ATK. The effect of "Killer Frilled Shark" can only be used once per turn. Canadian
Necro Gardna is both a Warrior-Type and a DARK monster. It's searchability outclasses Shark's card (assuming OP is accurate), but the fact it would be at 3 makes it seem interesting.
Flame Dragon
Knowing Necro Gardna is "to good" to be ran at 3 they went and made it so you can only use run. Now for some reason they decided it's ok to run 4. I'm not seeing the logic in that move. If they thought he was bad why give people 3 more? If they stopped thinking he was bad, why is he still at 1? Sigh At least LS can get their Gardna back.

This card is only for Fishies and Necro wasn't moved from the list despite Shield Warrior existing for a while (not that its the same as Necro...) Time Psyduck
The effect in the OP isn't the real effect (at least not in the actual card game). It only works when a Fish/Sea Serpent/Aqua is attacked, meaning only those decks can use it - and since those decks don't run Necro Gardna anyway, it's not going to be run at four. Also, it's harder to search/dump this than Necro Gardna, at least in the decks with Gardna in, and can't stop a direct attack. This isn't likely to affect the position of Necro Gardna - the two don't work in the same decks, since Fish/Sea Serpent/Aqua don't mill much. Yea, it's decent support, but for the most part it's a forgettable card.
