Since it gets its ATK set when Special Summoned, cards like Call of the Mummy, Mezuki, Book of Life, Pyramid Turtle, etc are all very effective. Because its ATK is set when it's Summoned, rather than being continuously modified like Granel's, this card is evil early game and while it loses effectiveness in the late game, so long as it was Summoned at a reasonable value, it can win the game for you.
