Incomprehensible British people + American people = win.

Still, YCM has a distinct lack of French people. Ce n'est interessante pas.

... Just checking, you meant to say "That/It isn't interesting", oui? 'Cause that's what that means.

As a Canadian I refute that statement.

u mad?

I mean, like, actual French people. There was the one guy obsessed with Lightsworns like a year ago who disappeared or something. notsure.

Ninja: and ya meant to say that isn't interesting. obvs.

So yeah I hope I can be stealthy this YCMLS :o I only get 1 watcher every duel....I actually prefer that for some reason idk.

I get 12+ watchers every time i dueled. =|

And yeah, I also try to be stealthy! I hid my decktype until the end of the second game of my first duel at least. =D

On a completely unrelated note.

He would have still lost without reaper BTW. Switch Gorz to defense, switch token to attack, swing with everything would have been game. Just attacking Reaper was a quicker and simpler shot at his points, less chance some silly ridiculous random BS would happen, like Honest on a Gorz token

Also, why is evilfusion rooting against me? I thought we were buddies. D=

That last video (for sure, at least. Haven't looked at the others yet) annoys me because the camera is focused too much on the lower right and it's hard/impossible to see the field. It shifts to a proper location later, but it still looks back.

Game 3 part 2 = not checking video after upload. :I

Gets right after halfway through.

I did lol @ evilfusion calling Shard a dumbass.

I watched the last feature video specifically because I wanted to know the commentators' reactions to that. Anytime I lose my cool even slightly, people take note with amusement or alarm. It's the highlight of that video.

And yes, throwing away your chance of winning to make such a ridiculously bad move was worthy of that.

Evilfusion was pissed xD

Not "pissed". There's only one time in recent YCM memory I could truly be called "pissed". Although, like this time, it involved me directly insulting Shard. If you saw it, you know when it was.

I was, however, totally blown away by the sheer idiocy of the move. Even if Saizan could have been killed in battle, leaving Burei alive was a terrible idea, since it was the current out to Gorz. And because Saizan couldn't die in battle, that bumped the stupidity factor of the play immensely.

I wasn't rooting against anyone, but I wasn't supporting anyone specifically, either. I explicitly stated at one point in the Chat that I was torn between who I wanted to win, because both of you were exceeding my expectations based on experience and game comprehension, and using similar deck strategies (Karakuri and Inzektors can do some insane swarm plays and gain advantage from it). Shard winning would have been a change from his usual reputation, and you winning would have been cool, since I know little to nothing about how good at the game you are. But someone was going to lose their perfect score, and I couldn't decide who I preferred.

YCMembers, gimme a reason why I shouldn't drop out.

Because dropping out is the loser way of dealing with losing. I assumed people joined the YCML because it's a huge tournament where you can face a lot of people with different decks. I don't see why losing matches would change the tournament's appeal. You might not top, but who cares, so long as you had fun?

And if you can't have fun without winning, then you're playing the game wrong. I don't think anyone genuinely thinks less of the lower performers, but dropouts do throw wrenches into the system.
