Reimu's question nearly crushed Jin. Could he really be related to a deadly murderer like Masune? If he was, then did that mean he might end up following his path as well and becoming a SSS ranked criminal? She had a point though. The black flames that seemed to follow in Masune's path of devastation had to be the same as the Power of Darkness.

Even with this sudden conviction though, Marta still didn't seem surprised. On the contrary, the head mistress seemed annoyed. She rolled her eyes as they spoke of him as a criminal, even though that was exactly what he was.

"Okay," she said to the two of them with a stern, 'let me tell you how it really is' tone of voice. "First off, Masune isn't Jin's father, nor is he related to him." This eased Jin's mind a bit, but it also raised questions. One thing was sure, Marta knew more about his parents then she originally let on. "Second," she continued "you shouldn't believe every bit of news you hear. It's not all true. I mean, the general thought in Osaka is that Masune was the one who burned their house down and killed the twins and your mother, just because their were black flames involved. But we all know it was Lucifer who did it."

She didn't bother trying to hide the topic of Jin and Lien's arrival, nor did she try to hide the fact that Reimu had rescued the two of them from Lucifer from Jessica. She was half Satori after all, so even trying to hide any of this would be utterly pointless anyways. "If any of you guys want to know more, then talk to me after the 8th period alright."

Jin nodded in approval. He wasn't sure what Marta was saying, but from the sound of it, she seemed to think Masune was innocent. "Anyways, Jin, Reimu, you two head to class. I gotta fix this place up after our respected guests last visit. Sakura, stay here. I'd like to here more about your project."

Jessica looked at Marta and made Eye-contact, She already heard of Jin and Lien being rescued from Lucifer from Ashley, she Saw some of the previous thoughts about the conversation they had, but however, She also saw that "it was pointless to hide the topic from Sakura", which made her speak up quite a bit about that. "Miss Marta, I'm only simply a Half Satori, I can only read the top layer of your thoughts through Eye Contact, If it was my dad however...-" Sakura was interrupted by a tight grip around her leg by Sarah, who looked up at Marta from behind Jessica, looking quite scared of the others. While keeping eye contact with Marta, Jessica used one of her hands to rub Sarah's head to try to calm her down...

"...Ah, right, class," Reimu said, shaking her head a bit. Fortunately, it was becoming easier to think, especially once she exited the room and managed to get the scent of death out of her nostrils. She stood still for a moment just to breathe before she glanced back at Jin.

"Guess we should get to class," she muttered, trying to smile at least a little. "I've got Pharmaceuticals next. You?" she asked as she strapped Salamander to her back.

---

Masa walked a bit more slowly than usual to Pharmaceuticals, vaguely wondering if he'd see the same girl as before on the way... but then again, probably not. She seemed pretty concerned about her brother, whoever that was- but Masa wasn't terribly worried. The teachers seemed to think the issue was under control, and he was inclined to believe them; the principal alone could do a number of a Demon Prince.

He paused for a bit longer as he passed by a certain wing. He sniffed and wrinkled his nose; death was on the air. A necromancer wasn't a particularly surprising passtime to have while at Blind Eyes, but something about it felt... off. Did it have anything to do with the issue at hand?

He sighed a little. Well, now he had a choice at hand. Follow the trail, or go to class?

At first, Jin made no movements to indicate he even remembered Reimu was there. His mind was still on Masune. He wanted desperately to know more, but also saw the annoyance in Marta's eyes and quickly decided against it. Still, he couldn't help but feel that vital, possibly important information was being withheld from them.

After another seconds thought, he turned and followed Reimu." I'm pretty sure I got pharmaceutical next too, but my schedule was in the now ruined part of the dorm, so I'll see what happens." He slowly moved after Reimu, still not fully aware of what was happening.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of walking, he asked "You don't think Masune the Bloodreaver was behind this do you?"

Something about that felt wrong though. Something told him that if he wanted either of them dead, they wouldn't be walking down the hall now.

"By the way, what was up back there?"

-----

Marta pulled the Power of Infinite up, then began to reverse the time around the destruction. This was certainly busier a day than she'd expected it would be when she woke up. Things were gonna be busy like this for a long time now.

After a while, she looked at Jessica and the other Alice. "So, is there a following explanation for the girl?"

-----

Lien smiled at Mayu again. "Sorry, but I need to go find my brother now." She then turned to Aeklyn. "Will you take me to Jin now?"

Aeklyn then Nodded, Grabbing Lien's hand to let her follow her to the Dorm rooms when she ran into Jin and Reimu coming out of the Dorm Hall, Aeklyn then had said to Jin "Well Jin, It seems like someone was quite worried about you" Then suddenly, She felt something odd... A presence that seemed to draw her toward the First year Boy's Dorm, She had peeked inside the Dorm room to see Marta and Jessica Speaking...

---

Jessica then immediately responded to the question asking about the girl "I went back to the back room to retrieve my Cellphone to call you to report the incident here and as well as the Ruins that Ashley had found, When I found Sarah, This little girl you see..." Jessica put her hand on Sarah's back to show her to Marta, Sarah then hugged Jessica tightly, Marta could See the Small tail that Sarah had, which was the same shape as Aeklyn's Spear-like tail, Only smaller. Jessica then continued to speak "The poor girl was scared of me, and the Zombies at first, then after a while, Sarah began to Trust me... You can see that she is Similar to Ashley: Human-like, Black, Spear-like tail, and win-" She interrupted herself when she sensed someone outside the door. Jessica then thought carefully about what question to ask about if Aeklyn should be let near Sarah, Marta should likely get those text messages she had sent soon...

Soren watched as Lein and Aeklyn walk away then he turned to Mayu and said," You heard the young lady your class is over there. So I'll be going I have stuff to do." MAyu gave him a crazy look and asked, " What do you have to do thats so important?" Soren lauged and looked around before speaking, " well if you must know, I'm goingto follow those two," Points in the direction Lien went," I have a bad feeling about something and I'd like to see about it your welcomed to join if you like." Soren started to follow them when Mayu started after him. They soon caught upwith the two and hid around the cornor from them trying to listen in on thier convation.

"The Bloodreaver?" Reimu said, then shook her head. "I'd doubt it. I don't think he's the type to use necromancy, especially since they had to ambush you in your room. He's a half-demon too, right? I don't think he'd find it too difficult to sneak into the school, so why attack you by proxy if he wanted you dead, right?"

She tapped a pair of fingers against the holstered Salamander. "As for what happened back there..." she muttered, feeling her face grow slightly hot with embarrassed. "I don't like... dead things..." she muttered, a little under her breath. "Or rather, I don't like it when they get back up again, okay? I've been avoiding an entire wing of the school so far because it stinks like rotting corpse."

She continued walking for a few more steps, but then sighed. It probably wasn't fair of her to leave it at that, especially since she had choked midway. He'd need to know if he could depend on her in combat, and trying to avoid sensitive topics just because she didn't like talking about them would lead to trouble down the line. Besides, Lucifer was likely to use undead more times than that; she'd need to get over her phobia eventually, if she was ever going to get serious about killing the King of all Demons.

"I have necrophobia," she muttered. "Even rotting wood and the like disgusts me a bit. That was my first real conflict with undead enemies, and I freaked out a little when they touched my skin. I can deal with any sort of demon no problem, just takes a bullet or three between the eyes. But dead things don't want to kill you, they're jealous of your life. It's creepy."

A huge surge of relief washed over Jin as Reimu erased his fears of being targeted by such a deadly foe. She was right in every sense too. If Masune the Bloodreaver wanted him, or anyone in the school dead, then he'd likely just walk right up to them and burn them alive with the black flames. Still, a part of Jin kept telling him that Masune would be connected to their near future. The only part scaring him, was hoow he'd be connected.

Reimu's revelation of her necrophobia was the real shock to him. For some reason, he'd always pegged her as the kinda girl who wasn't afraid of anything. But the signs were all around him, the way Reimu walked, the way she talked, she couldn't even look him in the eyes. It made him sad to see her that way.

Then he smiled. Why shouldn't she be afraid of something? Everybody has some sort of fear. Jin himself was afraid of snakes, as a result of an unfortunate zoo incident in which he ended up in Jin being in a python's grasp. "Listen, don't get too worked up about it. Everyone's afraid of something."

Jin placed his hands on her shoulders to try and pull her attention to him. Although it was embarrassing to admit, he knew he was the weakest link in that fight. "You did better than I did. You were at least able to use Aethrs and fight like an ACTUAL Demon Slayer. I couldn't do much other than hack and slash like an idiot."

The thought of his utter uselessness infuriated him. Why couldn't I use the darkness back there? It came so easily before. He shook his head, and suppressed his anger at himself for the time being. Reimu was in a worse place.

"That aside, we may be stronger and more experienced than some of our peers, but we're still beginners. It's only expected that we make a couple mistakes here and there. We'll get better as we grow."

He was going to continue, but was halted by Aeklyn and Lien. The two of the both stood watching, then Jin leapt back with his face red from embarrassment. "LI-Lien! What are you-"

His sentence was broken by Lien barreling into into Jin at full force, knocking him back two feet from his initial standing spot. In all his years knowing Lien, he'd only ever witnessed her full brute strength now. It scared him slightly, as he couldn't help noting that Lien was stronger than he was.

The two landed with a load thud that echoed down the halls. Neither of them really registered Aeklyn running down the halls passed them, as Lien was busy crying into Jin's chest and Jin was still disoriented by Liens slamming him into the hard marble floors. "Dammit Jin!" shouted Lien. This was a rare occation, and Jin could tell he was in trouble, since Lien only ever swore when Jin was in trouble. She sat up on Jin, straddling him and rested her hands on his chest to feel his heart. "What the hell happened to you!? When Faust mentioned intruders- I'm just glad you're safe! What happened though?"

Now Jin was noticing that he was winded as well. The words he wanted to speak didn't seem to be able to come out no matter how he tried. He weakly pointed at Reimu to try to say the two of them were attacked, but okay since Susanoo arrived, but Lien greatly misinterpreted the attempt.

Her gaze darted from Jin to Reimu in less than a second. "You saved him?!" Before Reimu could respond, Lien tackled her with an equal deadly hug.

The walls and furniture knitted themselves back together with the skill of a painter creating a masterpiece. Every spec of dust found it's place, every splinter slide in like a piece of a puzzle eager to take form. This was one of Marta's greatest skills. During her times with Masune, and fighting in the Second Scouring, she became increasingly good at reversing time around an object. After all, Masune himself caused loads of destruction that she had to repair.

Once her work had finished, she stepped back and happily admired her handiwork. There was no longer any sign that there was any conflict at all in the dorm. Good, that's one less thing to worry about. This had been her busiest day at school to date. All in a single morning, there'd been at least five separate incidents. Then there was still the new guest to consider, whom Marta could sense coming already.

She turned in place and looked at Jessica and Sarah. "Okay. You've got permission to examine these ruins." she said. It was then that she noticed Aeklyn standing in the doorway. "You may as well take Ashley with ya. I'm sure that she'd like to investigate them as well, but take great warning. Old demonic ruins are very dangerous. Even for well seasoned Demon Slayers. You'll need an instructor, whom I'll get for you, and I suggest you find two more members, on of them should be a Healer, and make sure they're all at least third years."

She sensed their new visitor was getting closer. She wanted to continue discussing the topic at hand, but to ignore her would be a great insult. "If you've got anymore questions, text me them and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability." As she finished, she warped out of the area.

Merely a fraction of a second later, she dropped down in front of the school just in time to see a young Japanese girl with a bored expression on her face walking towards the school. Her appearance was strikingly beautiful, with long ebony hair flowing to her lower back with a rice bun shaped hair pin. Her she wore a purple kimono with pink flowers running up and down that fell only to her mid thigh. Her legs were long and slender. The guys must go nuts over those. she thought Then she noticed her rather flat chest, and gained a large confidence boost. The girl may have had sexy legs, but she was no match for Marta's double D's.

While the girl was incredibly attractive, the two things that stood out most about her weren't her legs or face, but the three fox tails protruding from under her kimono, and the set of fox ears on her head. The ears could have easily been simple decoration, but Marta knew better. Those were her real ears, and the tails, well, there was no faking those.

The girl was escorted by two foxes, both of whom were the size of full grown Labradors. One was black with a number of kanji painted to it's fur with blue eyes, the other white with the same kanji in red inc. Both had nine tails sprouting from their backside.

"Inari-sama, it's so good to see you again." Marta said giving the young demon a polite curtsy. Inari waved her hand and sighed. "Spare the polite chatter. I know exactly why you requested my stay. I sensed Susanoo the minute I arrived. Let me guess, he offered to protect your school for women and sake, correct?" Marta sighed and nodded. "I just thought since you're so so good at mixing rice wine-" Marta was interrupted by Inari's intervention. "I'm the best!" she screamed "I'm the best at what I do! Nobody is greater!" Marta simply smiled. "Then I assume that you'll assist?"

Inari paused, only now seeing Marta's word trap. She was careful in choosing what she said. Very careful. She knew that now she'd been issued a challenge.

The sunlight bounced spectacularly across the Tokyo skyline. The city was always beautiful, even during the rain, and the burtsing rays of light crawling over the horizon truly supported Japan's right to be the "Land of the Rising Sun". But it was at night that the city truly shone. The many neon lights kept the city shining through even the darkest nights. It was no real question why the city was so cramped with so many people. Not just Japanese, but people all over the world paid huge amounts of money to live in this city. But even in a city as great as Tokyo, demons never slept.

The warm light touched Masune's skin, heating him after a cold night. Kokuen, in it's 1st form, was covered in the blood of the demons that were threatening to consume the inhabitants of the city mere minutes ago. The roof top where he stood was littered with their corpses, which were now beginning to fade. These ones weren't too strong, but were still a problem to humans. He looked over the skyline, focusing his Chaos Sight for distance and saw the one he'd been waiting for on the top of a steel building structure.

He moved, faster than anyone could follow, for fierce training built his speed to unreadable moves. His objective location was far, but for one as fast as he, it wouldn't take anytime at all. Leave it to Avichi to chose such a precarious location.

Jessica Acknowledged the Order, Wait for the Instructor, Recruit 2 more Third years, and Text Marta for questions, Although that Runic Wall would likely be quite hard to Bypass. She was not surprised when Marta Disappeared, but When Sarah Ran up to Aeklyn and Barreled into her with Sarah hugging and Yelling at Aeklyn "KIN!~ <3", This Launched Aeklyn into the hallway in surprise, Promptly feeling like Sarah wedged herself between Aeklyn's Bosom as Sarah Tried to hug her. Aeklyn then said "Gyah, That's what it feels like to be in Jin's Shoes" her voice trailed off as Aeklyn looked at Sarah and immediately saw her Tail, She loosened up as She knew that She had met someone of her own kind and she was in fact very happy for that, as if she had met a little sister that she did not know she had. Their moment was interrupted by Jessica walking up to Aeklyn and Sarah, Making touch-ups with her notes as she did, and said to Sarah and Aeklyn to introduce them to each other "Well, Sarah, Ashley, Looks like you've found each other... Sarah, This is Ashley... And Ashley, This is Sarah...". Jessica looked as She sensed a familiar presence, She then Smiled and said "Hey Soren, Come here, I'd like to talk to you!"...

After his first class Alex needed to go back to the boys dorm for a little bit. As he was walking down the hall toward the dorm he saw a crazy scene. A girl tackled another student and the poor boy flew to the ground after the crazy girl had said something to the boy she tackled another student. Alex, not really sure what was going on, walked over to the boy who was flung from his feet. Putting his hand out to Jin to help him to his feet he spoke. "Uuh here let me help you up." He said confused. "Uuh what the hell is going on and why are you tackling people?" He asked Lein pulling Jin to his feet and bracing him a little so he didn't fall again.

"Taiken, I'm scared." A girl stood at the entrance way of Blind Eye Academy, the school for training Demon Slayers. With a slightly chubby figure, she had plain dark-brown hair, pulled up in a ponytail, her wide curious eyes staring at the huge building that lay before her. Inside, she knew the people in there were powerful, wonderful, much more important than her. How was she ever going to compete with all of these Demon Slayers? Just a week ago, she found out that demons weren't a legend. Taiken, this boy, saved her, and spilled all his information to her, his world about demons, his family life, his powers...

How could she compete? She could barley hold the twin daggers (a gift from Taiken) steady. How was she supposed to prove herself to all these formerly trained Demon Slayers?

"Don't worry Jikuaii. As long as you stick with me, you won't be picked on too much..." Taiken put his hand on her shoulder, coaxing her forward. This girl, Jikuaii was a mystery to him. On the night she was attacked, he sensed such a strong aura presence, omitting from this shaking, weak girl next to him. How could that be possible? He needed to feed his curiosity. If this girl somehow tricked him, into believing she had a strong aura..

No, that isn't possible. She had no idea that demons existed until last week. "This girl..Better be worth the trouble that I went though..." He thought of that night when he met the girl, how she begged and pleaded, and how strong her presence was. He fought with the school board, used his family connections to let her in the school, all the while, her aura vanished within a day.

Jikuaii took the first step. The second, the third... soon, they were slowly headed towards the school entrance.

"I know what you're planning." Inari said growing increasingly irritated, "You're attempting to try lock me in your word trap. You expect me to fall for an immature placement trick and try to defend my pride. Do NOT think for a second that it will work!" Her eyes locked with Marta's, which were making a sort of pouty look that she tended to make when she wasn't getting her way. "But you claimed you were the best." she replied "Surely the best wouldn't back down from something so simple." She winked at the end of her taunt, which added to it's effect.

Inari's eyes flared up in anger, then all at once became embarrassed. She wasn't one to walk away from a challenge so easily, especially when the challenger was Marta with whom she owed a debt too. "V-very well... I'll stay, but only because..." she trailed off, growing slightly embarrassed, and showing it in her now rosy cheeks. "O-only because I am interested to see this boy Jin's progress." Marta chuckled a little, then smiled. "Of course. Why wouldn't you want to watch the twins."

Another aura presence suddenly crossed Marta's psyche. One she recognized too, but was still unfamiliar with it. There was another one with it. Significantly smaller, but still there. "If you'll excuse me mi'lady, I've another guest to attend to." Marta smiled politely once more, then vanished again. Inari sighed very deeply. "What am I getting into..." The two foxes glanced up at her, then she patted both affectionately behind the ears and walked toward the school, sure that Susanoo would soon sense her.

Split second later, Marta dropped in front of Taiken and Jikauii. "Why hello there. You must be Taiken-kun." Her additude was polite, but a hint of flirt was barely traceable in her voice. "And, this is Jikuaii-chan then?"

The metal of the steel bars clanked softly as Masune touched down on the beams. This was suppose to be a build structure for the new Tokyo Tower, after all how long could the city council go without rebuilding it after Muramasa destroyed it. Was it really 17 years ago that all that happened? He guessed it didn't matter.

Avichi was standing about ten feet above him looking over and admiring the horizon. Masune knew he'd been sensed, but it wasn't like Avichi to acknowledge someone before they acknowledged him. "Good to see you still alive... King of Deceit, Avichi."

It was this remark that made Avichi turn with a smile. Avichi had the appearance of a young boy who wouldn't look out of place at a punk rock concert. His hair was highlighted blonde and white, but was overall black. He had dark bags under his eyes, which had a horribly bored look to them. "None of that now Masu-san. You called me here after all." Avichi mused. His hands- or rather claws, as Avichi's entire forearm was stretched and leathery, buff around the elbow, but slim around the wrist, with long fingers and razor sharp nails- ringed each other slightly. Masune could tell his interest was growing.

"I suppose you're right. I've got a request actually." Masune told him maliciously. Avichi sighed and smiled, showing a clean row of pointed sharp teeth. "You know how I am with these requests..." he said giving an evil twist of sarcasm to his voice. Masune noted this, remembering the cost of some of his requests, then continued. "The price is in the request this time." This earned him nothing but Avichi's full attention.

"AH!" Jikuaii shrieked and fell backwards. She was so caught up walking towards the school, so consumed in her thoughts, she almost ran headfirst into the beautiful woman standing before her. Embarrassed, she looked up at Taiken, who looked stressed. Very stressed. Taiken turned his back to the woman and scowled at the girl on the ground, "Get up! That's the headmistress of the school!" he hissed. "I can't believe she fell over in front of the headmistress..." Jikuaii scrambled back up to her feet just as Taiken turned back around to face the woman, giving her a beautiful, plainly obvious fake smile. You could almost even see the vein marks on his forehead. He made it obvious he didn't like the headmistress very much, but he still wanted to be on her good side. "Hello, Miss Levione. Yes, I'm Taiken Sky, and this is... Jikuaii Kotsumi." Taiken flinched, but still kept his smile, as he put his arm around Jikuaii and brought her forward. Jikuaii blushed and looked up at Taiken. In the whole week she spent with him, she's never seen him smile once, and now....

"Please say the right thing.." Taiken strained to keep a smile on his face. Jikuaii stared at the beautiful woman before her, almost in a trance, right as she remembered who this important person was. "O-oh! I-it's a pleasure to meet you..." Jikuaii hastily bowed to the Headmistress, looking up for approval.... "I Can't believe I already messed up!" Tears started to swell up in Jikuaii's chest, but she fought to keep them back. What was the headmistress like? If she was the head of a Demon Slaying school, she mist be strict, super strict, and mean... Jikuaii started to shiver at the thought of this woman lashing out at her. Jikuaii closed her eyes tightly, prepared to brace herself for the worst...

Reimu wasn't exactly sure how to respond to Jin. To a certain extent, he was right- after all, she supposed she shouldn't expect to be perfect right from the get-go. Still, it was frustrating that she was immobilized by what really was a rather weak enemy- Susanoo was right, they couldn't fight Lucifer like this.

Her heart still hammered a little from the fight, leading her to jump a little when he suddenly grabbed her by the shoulders; any less presence of self, and she might have attacked him out of reflex. That said, the tactic worked, forcing her to actually make eye contact instead of avoiding his face. Still, it was difficult to accept Jin's compliment- even his 'wild flailing' was enough to remove a good chunk of the undead, and most of her advantage was due to fire being a natural enemy to traditional zombies. If he'd been able to use the Power of Darkness, she'd have been totally extraneous.

"I wasn't that important," she managed to mutter, mostly under her breath, before Lien turned the corner. Jin leapt off of her like she were made of hot coals and she couldn't resist cracking a small smile at his expression, inexplicable as it was. She didn't quite take his words to heart, but it was sweet of him to try cheering her up, at least.

Lien took Jin down without him able to get a word out, to Reimu's further amusement. She would have continued to enjoy the spectacle if Jin hadn't pointed at her, quickly changing the target of his assailant.

"Ahk!" she yelled as the powerful girl basically tackled her, crushing her chest with a powerful hug. She managed to stay standing, though only barely, by using the awkward weight of Salamander to spin the two of them in a quick circle. It wasn't particularly graceful, but it at least prevented the two girls from falling into a sprawling mess on the floor.

"Uh... w-well, it's more like we were both attacked at the same time," she muttered quickly, knocked off her balance both figuratively and literally by the public outpouring of gratitude. "I didn't, uh, do anything too special..."

---

To say Susanoo moved quick as the wind would be a misnomer. When possible, Susanoo ran as the wind.

The God of Storms sensed a familiar shift in the spiritual energy of the school almost immediately, though he paused a few minutes to be sure. The disturbance was a demon of some power, though it didn't appear hostile- indeed, it had the same antiquated, say refined quality to it that most of the other elder demons long banished to the surface of the world tended to cultivate, like the bouquet of finely aged wine.

Once more, the feeling was familiar, if not overly so. He had little worry his sister had shown up, so he wasn't terribly curious as to which of his old allies had decided to stop by for the moment, but guard duty was boring. He decided to stop by briefly to see what the matter was; perhaps it was a situation he could get something out of. Preferably sake. The women Marta had provided for his bed were adequate, perhaps, but the sake was a situation that dearly needed rectifying.

So Susanoo chased after the signal, taking on the form of the slight breeze wafting through the air before emerging in a whirlwind. The stares of two Huli Jing met him as he emerged, as did the passive gaze of a young, though beautiful, woman dressed in the traditional garb.

Susanoo couldn't help but contain his grin as he processed the situation, chucking to himself.

"Inari Ō-chan," Susanoo said in an elated voice- though his excitement was less due to Inari's arrival itself, so much as what it heralded.

As a general rule, demons fermented terrible alcohol. Indeed, this was a theme that had stretched on for centuries, back to the ages of ritual sacrifice of prepared food to provide to picky Gods willing to provide protection in exchange for quality meals. Some demons liked the taste of mortal itself, but those with a more refined taste preferred whatever dishes the human mind could come up with, in their many-faceted and delicious glory. Susanoo was among the later group, though as of late he had ratcheted his expectations down a great amount.

Inari was the exception that proved the rule. When humans wanted good sake, they prayed to Inari- for any point in the process, she was the undisputed master.

As such, Susanoo found that he tolerated Inari far more than he tolerated most other Gods, or even demons in general. The fact she provided sake the likes of which could not be compared had much to do with this, he thought as he licked the edges of his lips.

Lien's pulled her face away from Reimu's chest, feeling somewhat sorry for soaking her shirt with her tears. She didn't much believe Reimu's words though, choosing to hold to the thought that she'd saved Jin, but didn't argue. "I'm s-sure that Nii-san... wouldn't b-be al-l-live without you though." She barely managed to get her words out through the tears she was still shedding. "Thank you just for- Wait, what were you two doing together anyways?"

For this she rounded on Jin. Her eyes were still puffy, but now the tears had been replaced by a stern anger that only Lien could pull after crying so much for her brother's safety. Jin, who'd just gotten too his feet with Alex's help, had just been explaining the situation in small breaths to the newcomer, while conveniently leaving the part about the Zombies out, both for Reimu's pride, and he and Lien's protection. As Lien aimed herself at Jin, -now showing fiery anger towards the boy she'd only seconds ago been crying for- he leapt behind Alex looking to move himself out of firing range.

"W-well, there was this big demon, and he kinda exploded over her, so I brought her to the boys dorm to-" Lien cut off Jin's sentence with a louder one. "So you thought you'd get her in your room so you could 'be alone with her'!? Jin, how could you even think of something like that!?"

That last part may as well have shattered Jin's thoughts. His entire face burned red from embarrassment, and the shock that Lien's conviction gave him rendered him unable to say the truth behind his intent. He fell to his knees beside Alex and bowed deeply multiple times. "I-I'm sorry Lien! Pl-please forgive me!" His embarrassment continued to rise as he was grovelling, as well it should, but mostly because of what this would reflect towards Reimu. Admittedly he did want to be alone with Reimu, but just because the two of them had not actually talked since their first day at Blind Eyes.

Lien turned to Reimu and bowed apologetically to her. "Suzumiya-senpai, I apologize for my brother's idiocy. Will you allow me to escort you to class?" There it was again. Lien's trying to act professional to make up for an apparent mistake he'd made. He could tell it would've been better if he didn't try to follow Lien either, knowing she'd only get more pissed at him.

As the two spoke to her, Marta slowly downloaded the information she needed from the voices of the two students. Taiken was an easy read, as he was similar to Kai in attitude and mannerisms, but the girl was more complex. Girls were usually more complex than guys were, far more emotions and thoughts -most of which Marta had discarded as a girl- which they dwelt on them far longer than ever necessary.

This girl, at least at the current time, was incredibly nervous, having been clumsy in her first meeting with the headmistress, but Marta wasn't as strict as she'd thought. She gave a clumsy laugh, then lifted Jikuaii's head so that they were able to make eye contact. "Calm down sweetie. I expect you to be nervous after coming to a strange new place like this." She smiled at her kindly, then turned to Taiken.

"You must be Taiken-kun. From the Sky clan, correct?" She turned to Taiken and smiled at him. "You're Clan was a deep help during the Second Scouring, so it's an honor to a member of their family in my school." Her tone was polite through her introduction, but suddenly shifted to a pseudo flirty and somewhat more teacher-like tone. "But don't think that that'll put you above anybody here. There're plenty of other first years just as eager and willing to grow as you."

Inari took a step back as Susanoo appeared before her, both from surprise and embarrassment. The two foxes growled slightly,, but Inari patted them behind the ears and calmed them. "S-Susanoo-sama, I'm... glad to see you're... well." she said Her past dealings with Susanoo were not necessarily unpleasant, but they were enough to make her blush.

She shook herself slightly, then continued. "The headmistress currently has me here on business, and I'd like to get to it soon too." The two foxes nodded her agreement. Still, Inari couldn't shake the feeling that she and Susanoo would be seeing each other much more now. "Still, I suppose I know what you want." She said as she pulled out a drinking gourd from beneath her sash. She pulled out a couple ingredients, then poured them into the gourd, shook it a little, then overed the fresh sake to Susanoo. "I expect this will be to your liking?"

The beautiful women lifted Jikuaii's head up to face her, and spoke kind words. Jikuaii blinked twice, then smiled a smile so big and genuine, it would be hard to look away and not smile back. Her eyes twinkled with happiness, "T-t-thank you!!" Jikuaii's heart filled with relief and happiness. "She's so nice! I can't believe it! Oh, I'm so relieved!" Jikuaii closed her eyes and thanked god for the good blessing. she was so happy, she wanted to share her good fortune, "Hey Taiken, she-s so ni-" She stopped when she caught a glimpse at Taiken.

The boys whole demeanor changed. He was still smiling, yes, but... A huge, dark aura surrounded him. Even Jikuaii felt it. She took a step back and shivered. "T-taiken...?" She reached out for his shoulder, hesitant and scared. Did the Headmistress say something to make him mad? She hadn't been paying attention.

"Just because my family is a bunch of stuck up a******s, don't assume I am one of them, Miss Levione." Taiken's speech was still polite, and his smile was still there, but you could tell, the boy was severely pissed off. He clenched his fists and his shoulders were shaking a bit. Jikuaii's happiness cracked, and she felt like she was going to cry again. "W-w-w-what?!"

"Erm," Reimu muttered in confusion. 'Be alone with'? Well, she guessed they were alone, if you didn't count that girl who used guns and her friend who popped up now and again. What were their names again? Ah well, it probably wouldn't matter. She could always ask the next time they stopped by anyway.

In any case, that didn't sound like a reason to be angry at someone, though Reimu supposed she didn't quite get the mechanics of sibling's relationships. Or, rather, even the relationships between people with a regular upbringing; her mother had tried to make sure she knew the culture of other people, but she had largely failed. It was difficult to grasp or care how other people acted when you didn't have a chance or reason to practise such actions for yourself, and Reimu admitted she wasn't be best learner back then- she usually just spent those lessons trying to recover from her father's far more involved teachings.

Perhaps she heard it as an attempt at an ambush? But why would she suspect Jin of attempting to attack her? Perhaps it was intended as a romantic gesture or innuendo of some kind? But if that were the case, it would have been intended as a compliment- and Lien was apologizing to her. So that didn't make any sense. Hm.

"Uh, sure. That's fine," she said after a second, flicking on her Hunter's Eyes to remind herself where in the school she was, before she started mapping out the path to the class in her head. She started down with Lien at her side once it seemed obvious that Jin would not be joining them, for whichever reason. Possibly as penance for whatever insult he did to her that she still hadn't quite understood.

She spared a quick glance at Lien before the younger girl before she would notice. Though she knew Jin and Lien were twins, it didn't appear obvious at first glance. Lien had hair about as long as she did, though she tied hers behind her back- and of course, Lien's hair was a summery rose compared to her brother's dark locks. Likewise, she had a calmer face than her brother did- though Jin wasn't particularly angry or violent, he did have dark lines across his face.

"You don't seem to have much in common with your brother," she said after a moment.

"This was a bad idea," Masa muttered to himself as he closed in on the source of the trail. He'd either find nothing, making this entirely pointless, or he'd drop in on a necromancer or something that would kill him and raise him as a shambling horror that ate magic or something. His power was pretty terrifying while he was alive, he couldn't really imagine it when juiced up on evil or darkness or whatever it was that evil necromancers pumped into their favored slaves.

"This was such a bad idea," he muttered to himself, pausing as he came upon a kneeling humanoid. He flinched for a second, wondering it would rise up as a husk or something and eat him, before taking a step forward.

"Uh... hello?" he muttered. "Who are you?"

-

Susanoo grinned as he accepted the gourd with a grunt. He nodded at Inari and chuckled a bit.

"Then you'd best get to that, then. The quicker you can get back to making delicious, delicious drink, then the quicker I'll be happier," he muttered as he upended the gourd down his throat. The sake was room-temperature and noticeably rougher than her usual brew, but its delicious taste rendered either point moot. Blood flushed to his skin as the alchohol tinged with divine essence spread into his bloodsteam, warming his entire body the entire time.

He gulped the potent brew like water, and was done with the entire contianer after a few seconds. He took in a deep breath once he was complete, then leaned back and grinned for a bit. For the moment, he was sated- it wouldn't last long, but Inari sake after such a long period of time was certainly enough to fulfil him for now. Soon the warmth would wear off and he'd have to release his tension, but for the moment he was fine to bask in the boozy afterglow.

Jessica giggled as Soren said that he was not suited for Delicate Tasks then shortly disappeared. When Soren reappeared with a backpack, Jessica then said to Soren "Actually, You're going to help protect me and the group, Although you likely won't be able to do anything about the traps, That would be the jobs of both Aeklyn and Sarah. The Delicate tasks are going to be the other friend i'm going to call..." She got on her cellphone and called in another friend...

While Jessica was calling her friends to recruit them to the adventure, Aeklyn kept an eye on Soren as Sarah approached Soren very cautiously, but eventually ran back to Aeklyn. It was now obvious that Sarah cannot stand being around boys...

It was a while after Jessica was calling her friends, Luckily for her, One decided to join the adventure into the cave, but funny enough, It was the Old Second Year Representative, Who was the perfect person for Delicate tasks as far as she knew, but now for the bad news, She was going to take a while, She needed to get her stuff. Jessica prepped 6 wards on each of her hands, 2 Healing wards and 4 small laser wards...

Taiken's response had barely even phased Marta. She’d been joking about it anyways, since she was both informed about Taikens stance on his family by both his father and Taiken himself, though unintentionally at first as she drew the information from her vocal telekinesis. She simply smiled back at him, and responded in a kinder tone than before. "Good, between us two, I can't stand your dad either. He's way too serious and expectant." She guessed that this would evoke another anger flare in Taiken, but honestly, she didn't care.

Fortunately, Jikuaii, or Jiji as Marta learned she liked to be called, was warmer and more eager than Taiken. These were her kind of people. Just as long as she kept her female emotions in check, they'd get along fine. "If it's not to much trouble, Jiji-chan, I'm interested in the story of how you learned about Demon Slayers, and why you chose to become one." This was slightly standard, but Marta was generally curious too. Taiken had told her some bits, but there were other complications too it that Marta had sensed.

-----

Lien hadn't responded to Reimu's question, and dwelt on it as though it had seriously affected her. Finally, she let out a sigh and spoke. "Jin and I are twins, but sometimes I think that's all we have in common." She blushed a little, then continued. “I know he didn’t mean anything by taking you back to the dorm, but he’s my brother, so I guess I can be a little too protective sometimes.”

It suddenly occurred to her that she might have given Reimu the impression that Jin was a violent boy, or that he tried hitting on a lot of girls. She figured if she kept talking about him, or perhaps told her about their past it might clear things up. Besides, Reimu already knew as much about Jin’spower as herself and Jin knew, so why not tell her more?

“When we were little, we looked more alike, but then Jin started getting in… fights…” She paused at that one, remembering many of his worse wounds. Again she felt she was giving the impression that Jin was violent, and she jumped at that. “Well, he didn’t start them! At least, not without a good reason.” A specific reason came to her in fact. “One time, we were at a park playing in the sandbox, when he heard some older kids talking about different ways to play with a frog they’d caught, he started getting angry. He’d already been in a couple fights before, and I could tell he was wanting to stop them. Finally, the other boys lit a match beneath the frogs belly, and Jin lost it.”

In spite of her believes, Lien couldn’t help but release a small laugh. “The boy holding the frog never saw it coming too. One second, he’s laughing his bum off like some psycho from a movie, and then he’s crying like a baby with a bloody nose.” Her expression shifted at that. “He’d always do that. Rush in to the defense of a person or animal in need. He never questioned it either.”

She sighed and eyed the ground. “Still, no matter who he helped, he was never liked much by our class members. He never had much, if any friends, and he ended up ditching class a lot.” It was with this sentence that she realized why she’d been jealous of Reimu. “Um, Suzumiya-senpai, I want to apologize.” She stopped in her tracks and stared at the floor for a minute before continuing. “Like I said, Jin never had many friends, so I’m afraid I don’t know how to act with a female becoming his friend, and I’ve no clue what to do about him getting a girlfriend…”

-----

Inari blinked, but quickly shook herself to awareness. A part of her was glad she’d pleased Susanoo, -given the fact that he had a highly advanced taste for sake- but another part had fixated itself on continuing. “Yes, well, I should get going now. If you want a continuation of the sake flow that is.” With that, she walked off toward the designated dorm Marta provided her. As she walked, she wondered what this new occupation would bring her.

Taiken was taken aback by Marta's response. He thought for sure she would react in a different way. He certainly never heard anyone talk so ill toward his father. He smiled back at her, half heart-ed, feeling bad for the way he snapped back at her previously. Maybe after all, he would learn to like the headmistress...

"Jiji-Chan?", Jikuaii looked up to the sky for some thought. How did the headmistress know her favorite nickname for herself? "Maybe...Could the headmistress read minds?" Jikuaii laughed off the thought. "Nah, thats impossible!" Jikuaii smiled to herself brightly, and looked back down to Taiken and Marta. "Well, I was just walking home after me and some of my friends were hanging out, and all the sudden these demons attacked me. Taiken was there to save me though! I was thinking about something, and...."

The story was put so simply, it almost seemed like a different story to Taiken. He was patrolling the city, his family had ordered him to go inspect, as they heard the demons were after a very powerful aura. When Taiken arrived to the city, he felt nothing at all. Sure, there were some little auras scattered about, but nothing worth a demon attack so big. He was sitting on a rooftop at night when he felt it. An aura that was very overwhelming. He only felt this overwhelmed with master demon slayers. Taiken rushed over to where the source was, expecting a powerful being, but instead, he found a helpless girl, walking clumsily, deep in thought, being surrounded by demons ready to attack...
