You can discard 1 "The Seal of Orichalcos" to negate the activation of a Spell, Trap, or Monster Card effect and destroy it. Whoever wins this duel, wins the Match instead.[/i][/center]

If they were to, they would

A- Release all the other cards that they were made in that lawsuit.
B- Most likely remove the "The loser loses their Soul" part.
C- Make a Championship card or something like that.
D- Have done it years ago.

Guardian Eatos and Orichalcos Shunoros appeared in the same DM arc and were made into real cards during 5ds era. It could happen with this.

OT: I'd love to have this card since DM is my favorite of the 4 series.

Probably something like this:

The activation of this card cannot be negated. Spells, Traps, and card effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation. This card cannot leave the field. [s]Monsters you control gain 500 ATK.[/s] [s]You can have up to 10 monster card zones instead of 5.[/s] [b]The Spell & Trap Card Zones on your field are also treated as Monster Card Zones.[/b] [b]You cannot Summon monsters on the [/b][b]Spell & Trap Card Zones unless your 5 Monster Card Zones are occupied. [/b]You can discard 1 "The Seal of Orichalcos" to negate the activation of a Spell, Trap, or Monster Card effect and destroy it. [s]Whoever wins this duel, wins the Match instead.[/s]

The main nerf would be that you give up space for Spell/Traps for more monsters on the field (allowing you to build a bigger army, but with less backup), and I feel the card would still be powerful. The second bolded effect, more of a restriction, would be for avoiding monster spam with cards such as "Rekindling" and "Return from a Different Dimension".

I crossed out the ATK boost because an expanded Monster Zone + locking the Field Spell Zone + the ability of negating effects with copies of the field should be more than enough.

This card would make Kuriboh OTK closer with ten 800 ATK monsters on your side *shot*

Lol I remember a friend of mine talked to me during P.E. class, saying "they don't plan on making the Orichalcos cards until 2004, the card will probably be pretty expensive". Then I answered: "that long?" . . . you can guess how old that conversation is.




More seriously speaking, this card would:
-Not have the anti-removal effect, and most likely mantain all the usual weaknesses of a Field Spell.
-Completely eliminate the Match winner/soul taking part.
-Use the S/T Zones are the extra Zones.
-Get rid of the backrow monsters' protection (even though the OP version of the card doesn't seem to have it anyways)
-Konami would probably get rid of the +ATK effect and replace it with Deuteros' Life gaining effect, just because.
-[s]make it vanilla-related like they did with Shunoros[/s]
-The negating effect would also be gone. There's enough Field Spell support for easy almost-solemn-judgement spams.


I want to play this so badly as a fan of DM over all other generations though :3

Well, +500 sounds like "Gaia Power", "Umiruka", and all those Field Spells no one uses, but giving the boost to you only, and to all monsters you control with no discrimination, does make a difference. More or less as Gatchi Gatchi does. Now, Gatchi Gatchi is not exactly a broken card.
Though when you take into account the "cannot be negated and cannot leave the field" effect,
the I have 5 more monster zones" effect,
the "I can prevent you from attacking anything in the back 5 zones of monsters while I have monsters in the front" effect,
and the "I can discard another copy of this card to negate any Spell/Trap/Monster effect and destroy it" effect,
It just doesn't seem like all that will stay.

Plus, it's a villian card. They always nerf villian cards the most. With exceptions, but they usually do. I don't want this awesome stuff to become an Umiruka clone and nothing more D=
Well, I go to the point in the bold.... pretty much 8)
[b]Now, the "cannot be negated and cannot leave the field" effect can go to hell for all I care. and I'd rather they keep the "no attacks to backrow monsters" bit, you can make a barrier with just one Valkyrie (and all those monsters with similar effects). Combined with the attack boost integrated in the same card, it starts sounding a bit more unfair (imo of course).[/b]
