Agro Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 The only thing they managed to do is eliminate 5 problem cards, make Rabbit less searchable, make HEROs stop topdecking ever, make Dragons and Inzektors more vulnerable to a D.D. Crow, killed Lavals, slapped Dark Worlds on the wrist, stopped the game-ending Hieratic loop (though now they'll run Trag instead), evened out S/T destruction, and determined that they want Atlanteans to be the best deck of the format. I had a big post detailing each, but I accidentally closed the page, so let me hit a few points: BLS/Reborn/FuFu are "topdeck and win" cards, more often than not. They turn the tide of a game way too much. TGU/R3s are still to be pushed, because they make money. Night Assailant and such exist, as well. Sinister Serpent is a great idea, business-wise. It pushes a deck that players are heavily hyping right now. It gives a push in the direction of "HEY USE THIS". REDRUM is because people baww about how dragons need it and blah blah and, at 1, Lightpulsar still abuses it enough to give Chaos Dragons, their last big push, some force. [/quote] Yeah I saw that...it just that feels like they pulled it out randomly...the stuff is alright and at least tries to hit the right stuff for once but...you know...let's say it just has that feeling on it... They hit stuff that will either make them profit or kill the problem, depending on wherever they can balance it. They GENERALLY make good banlists, with a few derps.
