Expelsword
My point is that the "Synchro Era" is still on the decline if the Synchros that come out are not worth using.
Strider Tigerwolf
While I do agree that the Synchro Era is declining, I won't give up hope on them. They are pretty flexible and have several key boss monsters (touche, so do Fusions and Xyzs), but there still may be a few Synchros over the horizon that may actually be WORTH playing. Who knows? Maybe we'll get an Xyz Monster that aids Synchros/Fusions, a Fusion that involves a Synchro/Xyz "Specifically" that would be worth playing or something else along the lines, much like how this card is pretty decent and could see some gameplay if real. Strider Tigerwolf
I said "WORTH" playing. And I AM aware of Axon Kicker, but their means of getting it out with Miracle Synchro Fusion is barely scratching the surface.

Strider Tigerwolf
Drago-Equiste (more like Rip off of GBeast Equeste), is just too.... situational for my taste. Granted that it has play-ability with this, but I'd actually would rather go for Shooting Quasar as I get my money's worth. Equeste...not so much, and even this new Stardust isn't going to make it more playable either.
Toffee.
Guys, Synchros still exist, and Konami still has the ability to print/make more if/when they feel like it. Hell, Fusions still get members every now and then, so Synchros can do the same as well. Its just... The Extra Deck follows the same pattern as the current anime. I mean, Yugi hardly used any Fusions, and most of the card packs up to the GX era contained Rituals n' junk. Then Jaden came along, and Fusions + Fusion Support was like every other card. Then came Yusei with Synchros, and now its Yuma with Xyz monsters, etc, etc. ....Or something like that.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I'm surprised that Kaito didn't perform a Synchro Summon, considering he was said to "have a mastery of all forms of play" when he Fusion Summoned.
Expelsword
Momentum probably doesn't exist in Kaito's world.

Sorry for going off-topic there.
Sleepy
One thing that slightly bothers me about the names. Stardust made sense. He becomes dust which gets in the way of the destruction effect, overwhelming it. Also serving as "protection from the stars", and it took a while to regenerate after becoming dust (reason to why it Tributes itself). The analogy was just perfect. With this new one... not so much. I don't hate the card, and I can see it being used if you want to protect something even under the circumstances of it being destroyed by battle first, but yeah... trivia-wise at least, I'm not a real fan of it. [/quote] Stardust is actually involved in some sort of Japanese mythos, as I've seen a lot of manga/anime use it before. I couldn't tell you what exactly. As far as this card's effect is, I guess it's a play on the fact that stardust is supposed to be glistening.
