After all, a lot of stories and TV shows could have good stories made, but high ratings would come in too. It would give another way to people to express themselves, graphically, outside there avatar's and signatures. I know. Ultimately though, we're here for accessibility. And people with bandwidth caps or slow internet or old computers aren't gonna be a fan of having their bandwidth and such wasted like that. Yes, there are people who can make 100s of really small images and not bother anyone. Unfortunately, for the one guy who will make 100 images, one for every card he made and post them on his sig, we have to have an image cap. tl;dr - The image cap may change as technology changes, but for right now it's ten. [b]Mature Rated RP's[/b] I'd tell you to ask Rinne (the mod of Creative Writing and Role Playing) but I'll save you the trip and tell you it's gonna be a no from him. I can probably just short of guarantee it. You're still free to ask of course, but I'd be really surprised if it was a yes from him. [b]Profile Public Background[/b] We're still discussing it in the Mod Forum. The problem with a profile background thing is that it could be open to abuse by level 1 people with 1 post, which is something we don't wanna do. Unfortunately, all members fall into the same group so if we give Darklink401 (currently highest post count) this ability, we also give it to [Russian Porn/Viagra Spammer #426] The work around is to make an identical but separate member group which would allow us to either make it an item or make it something only for [some high number] of posts. It has it's problems in that we have to do double the work to update two member groups as opposed to one. For example, if we update images-in-sig for one group but not to the other, it might a problem. Or if we update one but not the other, we might end up doing more harm then good. tl;dr - Four options: 1) Make a separate but identical group. Make a buyable item that allows people to access it. 2) Make a separate but identical group. Auto-promote people when they reach a certain number of posts. 3) Keep everyone in one group.
