Send, from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Machine-Type Fusion Monster Card, then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, and it gains ATK equal to its original ATK. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) During the End Phase of this turn, the player who activated this card takes damage equal to the original ATK of the monster (at the time it was Summoned).

I love this card to death. All dem OTKs with Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem.

Also, it's great when you get to play this under the effects of your opponent's One Day of Peace.

If instead of Polymerization, there was a group of Polymerization-like Spells that gave small bonuses in different ways, I wouldn't mind.

Polymerization that doubles ATK (Power Bond)
Polymerization that let's you draw (would be interesting to have)
Polymerization that uses an opponent's material (Super Poly)
Polymerization that protects your monster in some way. (Dark Fusion)
Polymerization that destroys something
etc.

Though it might be too late for this sort of cards with the current game, who knows...

OT:
I don't usually like OTK cards, but this always felt so epic to use. It's somewhat situational so, it's a sort of "last boss" card on itself.

5600 Double Attackers
OR
8000 Attacker with piercing

Ancient Gears do it better.

8800 ATK with piercing and the ability to bypass S/T, and summons a 3000 ATK piercer when destroyed.

If your playing against a deck using One Day then they'll most likely have some answer to whatever you summon

Anyways, I kinda dislike Power Bond. It's just a glorified Polymerization... no good deck is going to use it. You'll have fun wrecking a kid with 5600 Cyber Twin Dragon, but that's it.

I opened with this, Golem, 2 Ancient Gears and Limiter Removal once. That was a short duel.

I cannot think of any deck apart from A.G's that can run this. Cyber-style just doesn't give that guarantee of winning that turn. That, and the fact that actually getting it to make anything more than Twin is god-damned impossible.

Well yeah 5600 is good, but it has to actually get through their defenses first. I've almost never had a Twin that lasted until I actually took Power Bond damage. UAGG just gives that extra protection against Mirror, Dimensional, etc.

Also despite making 2 cards for this exact purpose, Konami still haven't made a good CyDra substitute/copy. Proto is too weak and uses a Normal Summon, and Zwei needs a spell in hand, and STILL gets run over easily.

You realize that the monster is destroyed at the end of the turn and you take damage equal to the monster's original ATK, right? How does that protect you from "Mirror, Dimensional, etc."?

Built in protection effect when it attacks. Not only that, but if you activate 1 Day Peace, you pretty much nullify ALL the effect damage you'll take if it's destroyed.

Also, Forbidden Lance would protect Ulti Golem from getting killed?
