mido9
Extremely rough guess: 500 LP and ATK? It's only 3 digits so it's probably useless anyway.
~British Soul~
Should've been a regular TCG exclusive rather than the Sneak Peek promo.
Jord200
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O9Uy4cKZoY And people wonder why I hate these Noble Knight/Noble Arms cards. Its toilet paper. Trash. Garbage. Crap.
Toffee.
Considering, to an extent, Nobel Arms cards are pretty much invincible- Its a steady LP-Gain. I appreciate the effort they went for, but LP-gain in general is just... Mediocre. Unless its a large gain, with impressive benefits. Axon Kicker, for exaple~ Immune to effect destruction and does piercing, in addition to his LP-gain effect, all while on a 2900ATK body.
Kingdom Xathers
Excellent Roleplay material... but the ATK-Boost at the very least should be greater. LP gain is fine, but not something to right home about.... But hey, it's Arturigus' sword, so that's cool....

-Doodle
Ok, so another Noble Arm. I'm not surprised it's not that good, but that is a wierd amount of LP gain. It's usually 800 or 1000, but now they decided 900 They should make some Noble Arms cards that are useful, unlike that first one that came out (though the last one is kinda fun). b0b3rt
If it had been 1000 attack... as it is, it's just MST-bait that annoys the opponent if they don't get rid of it.

If you have noble knight on the field, even MST can't kill this well they can, but it just comes back .-.[once per turn], but anyones as far as equips go rather just use Axe despair if I did not want to use united we stand or mage power

Agro
The majority of the Noble cards aren't bad. They need one or two cards to really become good. This one is just s***.
El Majishan
As far as I can tell they are trying not to make broken[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] [/background]TCG Exclusives anymore. Canadian
Personally, I am just sick of seeing archetype cards being made into TCG exclusives. We need more generic cards that are good on their own (not "broken" per se).
Sleepy
I'm sick of archetypes altogether. Konami has 12 Levels, 12 Ranks, 7 Attributes, 22 Types, Half a dozen Sub-Types, power ranges from 0 to 5000, and 8 types of monsters (Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, Ritual, Effect, Normal, Trap Monster, Token) to work with. Wouldn't it be stupidly easy to make cards support certain combinations of the above without running out of options or resorting to much power creep, over the course of 10 years? It'd at least allow people to explore a bit more instead of going "Oh, HERO support, BW support, Photon support, GB support.. don't need any of this. I feel bad for having wasted the money for a pack where I pulled just stuff I'm not interested on running at all" I just get the feel it's a sort of lazy way to balance the game, and it also gives me the sensation that decks are mostly build for us nowadays. I mean, I know we are kinda on a "no return" point right now, but there's a lot of boring design out there.....
OT: The idea is.... it's disfunctional. Life gain is too little making it random, equip targets are specific, and revival effect conditions are even more specific. If you are not planning on using Noble Knights, this is just useless. If you ARE planning on using them, this is just casual material. Not the type of card that is TCG Sneak Peek Exclusive-"OMG that looks interesting I wanna go there rather than wait a week" material. Noble Knights are... ok. Though, couldn't they release them a bit faster? what's up with a year of wait for barely the 6th card of the archetype? These guys are something I'd expect to see in something like a Structure Deck. IDK why, they just give me that sort of feel.

In terms of balancing, having an archetype lets them modulate support. Weak monsters can have strong support, etc. But you can't do this with weak Attributes, Types, whatever. Let's ignore cards that exist and talk just theoretically. Say there was a card that said "Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower WIND monsters from your Graveyard". Great, that makes WIND much better. But it also means they can never make good Level 4-and-below WIND monsters (either that or they ban the original card). Dealing just with archetypes doesn't give that problem. Possibly more important, though, is that it lets people give their decks a visual theme. It's what everybody wants to do. What does every single new member post? "This is my dragon deck. Comment plz". A serious player can't justify making choices just on visual theme, they have to pick what works. But archetypes let you do that by picking an archetype with a theme that appeals to you ("cute and mechanical" = Geargia, "samurai" = take a wild guess, etc.). Otherwise you'd have a deck full of monsters that visually clashed. People don't want that. People want cards that look like they go together.
Noble Knights are... ok. It could be a more clever mask than blatant names in common, or still have the intended playstyle synergy without relying so heavily in name specifics. It'd be a tiny bit easier for the casual "I wanna be original" members to come up with something. Taking for example, that support example, I know I can't really ask too much from the designers, like inhuman foreshadowing habilities, but stuff can be dealt with on a one on one basis. The card could have been too broad and easy. Maybe a specific Level would have done better than "X Level or less". Something that helps one or more of the lower Levels oughts to come out eventually, maybe in the same expansion if those others are really in need of it. Also, it might be too chainable or free of cost. Ideally speaking, maybe a -1 cost, making it a +0, and occational +1, and even adding a clause that eliminates the cost depending on your current resourses, for the sake of "come back" cards. Stuff like that. Though, I do understand all your points, and sorry if I sounded like "kill all attributes", I meant I think the game relies way too heavily on them, but I recognize they are necessary options once in a while (emphasis on "once in a while"). EDIT: Oh, and yeah... very slow indeed....
