In the majority of the world, it's not christmas day yet. You'll have to wait another 12 hours or so, and that's just for it to become 9am GMT. America - i.e. the majority of this forum - wont have christmas for another 18 hours or so.

Yes but by that time we would have already finished Christmas or be close to finishing. And besides, you could always post when you've opened your presents up.

Why are you saying that for the "majority" of the world, it's not Christmas day yet? Hello hello, Japan, the whole continent of Eurasia already had their Christmas celebration today. And guess what? In Netherlands, Argentina, Austria, Colombia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Quebec, Romania, Uruguay, and Sweden, Christmas presents are opened mostly on the evening of the 24th, not during Christmas Day.

tl;dr: He can still post a thread about Xmas presents, even if an x amount of members in YCM are from the states.

OT: I got a knife.

I know that I'm getting a £250 guitar...but that's only because I was there when it was bought and picked it out.

The rest...I dunno. possibly some Gen V pokémon games, definitely a new rubik's cube, and some chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

Sorry, I was under the impression that Christmas presents were opened on Christmas Day, not Eve. I was merely stating that, at the time, it was pretty much japan and australia that were starting Christmas. Sorry if I offended people, it wasn't meant to offend people.

And still; Japan and some of Euraisa doesn't apply as the majority of the world.

Nor does the US. Your point?
[/quote]

I never said the US did. I did say that the US accounted for a majority of this forum though; or at least, Europe + the US (And still, for a lot of Europeans, it isn't quite Christmas Day yet.)

As for my point, I said that for the majority of the world, it wasn't Christmas Day. And I was right, at the time. I'll concede that, around about now, for a slight majority of the world, it is the 25th of December; but again, that majority do not typically celebrate Christmas...at least, not much (I.e China, India, middle East, etc.)

Well, I know what I'm getting. 3DSXL, Kirby Anniversary Collection, and some gaming headphones so I can attempt to fail LP and hopefully not break them.

Might be some other stuff (like mom implying she was gonna get a WiiU for the family, but never bringing it up again), but that's it, to my knowledge.
