Is it Phantom Beast Plane or Phantom Beastcraft?

Recommended Posts

Personally I prefer the second...

Anyway, discuss this new archetype.

It seems like a fun archetype to me. Honestly don't know enough to say they are competitive, but they look pretty powerful to me and anything that uses Tokens has gotta be good, right?

Mega-Raptor OP

Also Drago-SAC/sack is cool.

Look like Spaceships but way better, honestly. I think they have some potential.

Well your bound to have at least one OP card in an archetype...if your lucky. I seriously want to make a deck with these guys, but I am too lazy.

I don't suppose that any other token support could really be used with this archetype, could it?

Probably Scapegoat is the only Token support you could run, but I have yet to test this archetype on DN so I might be horribly wrong. The goats provide protection and "ammo" for the Beastcrafts, but they clog the field and may stop you from swarming with Beastcraft monster/tokens.

Token Stampede and Token Sundae are other Token supports that look good on paper, but I don't think you will have enough space for them in the deck, and you are better off using your tokens for the effects of Beastcrafts. The latter could help you to control the plane's Levels so you can Xyz into Ranks 3-4, though.

The problem I see with Drago-SAC, which actually may not be a problem at all, since it says monster does that also include the Tokens...because if not then he is not nearly as good as Big Eye...

Yeah clutter was what I was worried about. Token Stampede is a favorite, but didn't figure this deck would be able to run it.

Congratulations Konami, you've finally made a design stupid enough to make me lose all hope in the game's future and quit the game indefinitely. You came close with the horribly convoluted loli-esque design of Madolches, but you just couldn't wait to completely ruin the dark and mystical tone that originally made the game so appealing with this godawful garbage that should've been aborted alongside the new zexal show.

At least MtG knows how to make flavorful designs even if they do recycle cards with different names.

I have no idea why you are mad, these are great cards. The only thing awkward about it is the weird tribute to Phantom Beast.

Well if you are quitting because of these cards then you don't know good cards when you see them. IMO, madolches were a lot worse.

Phantom Beastcraft sounds awesome.
What source says this?
(OP's image doesn't appear)

Still an OCG name so TCG may still change.

I don't trust DN's translations ever since Maximum Brofist.
That was a giant joke and is by no means a translated name.

I know, but how will I know when they decide to make a joke again? Its hard to tell for me. ;~;
I heard they now have a sign for that.

You are a total ignoramus if you act like this. OH NO MY NOSTALGIA AND ART WAS CHANGED?! OH NOES!!!!!!!!!

Get out if you feel that way, because no one wants to hear about how you have no taste whatsoever.

Oh, by the way, if ZeXal should be aborted, then GX should've been the end of Yugioh, because at least ZeXal isn't the epitome of godawful writing.

Zexal's english dub has the best writing.

Also, this archetype is easier to side against than Dark Worlds. System Down, CyDra, and Poisonous Winds.

From what I can tell, this isn't an OTK deck for the most part, so I don't see how that flaw won't absolutely ruin the deck competitively.
