Not-so-Radiant Arin
This really needs to be made more playable. It's the coolest looking WIND Machine that isn't a PBC, both in terms of it's art and it's effect.
Darj
Concidentally, I have been thinking in starting a "Dark Flattop" thread during the last 2 days to discuss if it would make SKY FIRE more playable if the Synchro could actually summon ignoring the Summoning Conditions (instead of requiring you to Summon SKY FIRE properly first). If Flattop was allowed to Summon SKY FIRE without involving the Reactors, you could build a decent deck with it + Machina engine + Genex Recycleds/Unknown Synchrons: 1. Machina Fortress + Tuner = Flattop. 2. Discard SKY FIRE for Fortress. 3. Summon SKY FIRE with Flattop. 4. Next turn, bounce SKY FIRE to your hand with Birdman and go to step 2. Your field: Two 2500+ ATK beaters and a 3000 DEF wall; and one of them not only disrupts your opponent's Sets/Summons, but also it doesn't mind being destroyed because the wall will bring it back next turn. Basically, a single nonsense ruling is holding it back. (If Ultimate Gear Golem can ignore the summoning conditions of a monster that cannot be Special Summoned at all, why can't Dark Flattop fully ignore SKY FIRE's summoning conditions?) Sora1499
Wait, why can't Flattop summon this guy? It says that it ignores the summoning conditions. OT: Boss card. Stops defensive plays and comebacks in their tracks.
Toffee.
Because, guys, SKYFIRE is still technically a nomi, and requires you to properly Summon it first, despite the 'Ignore conditions' part......Plus, its how Grieger did it in 5Ds. Sleepy
In Yugioh, "ignoring the Summoning conditions" is not "ignoring the Summoning conditions" at all, which reeks of lack of common sense to players who do not know the ruling. -Nomis with Summoning conditions being ignored become like semi-nomis, which means they can be revived, as opposed to their usual rulings. -Semi-nomis with Summoning conditions being ignored, would indeed, ignore the Summoning conditions, if cards that ignored the Summoning Conditions of semi-nomis existed in the game at all. In other words, BKSS. I also think it's BS, and LV monsters are also suffering from it.
Strider Tigerwolf
CHANGE DA RULINGS! HORUS SKYFIRE DECKS ARE SUDDENLY BORN. :D
Azuh
They should errata this card saying "Cannot be Summoned except by the effect of "Summon Reactor SK" or "Dark Flattop"
Bringerofcake
BKSS. In other words, BKSS. I also think it's BS, and LV monsters are also suffering from it. Wow. It's been some time since I've seen that. I guess that's + points for konami. OT: One of my favorite bosses. Summon reactor isn't even super terrible, it's just that it's too hard getting all the reactors out at the same time.
