Sonic Boom
Normal Trap Card
Target 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster you control; during this turn, the target's ATK is doubled, it cannot be affected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards, and if it battles a Defense Position monster, it inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. During the End Phase, destroy all Machine-Type monsters you control. Monsters other than the target cannot attack this turn.

considering its a trap and only works with mecha phantom beasts while still wiping out your tokens like limiter removal.

i would say its (comparatively) balanced.

though that synchro theyre getting is problematic with this.

also your only really worthwhile target is drago-sac since the main deck mecha phantom beasts dont break 2k.

that would be pointless because only the monster targeted by sonic boom can attack that turn. i guess you could do limited first then sonic boom but that leaves you really damn weak to a monster effect wiping out your only attacker. dont play bad.

What? No.
We already went over this~ If you control a Machine Token, that's the ONLY monster your going to loose.

monster effects=/=destroy. bouncing, spinning, etc. or hell, they can even wipe out your tokens before end phase and then you DO lose all of them. im saying pointlessly doubling the attack of a bunch of monsters that couldnt attack anyways because of sonic boom is an awful play and you shouldnt be wasting cards like that.

That is not necessarily true.

Depending on the PHONELINE RULING we get in 3 months, they may make it nuke everything, regardless.

So how does that work when we have rulings such as Field Barrier vs Heavy Storm?

That's the only logical way it could work unless there's a text mistranslation we have.

There could be an ambiguous wording (In Japanese, quite a few of those exist) that makes the correct translation and/or intent possible. Things like Abyssdine are examples of that. She had a brand new wording.

i imagine if the intent is they all die regardless the likely errata will be "send to graveyard" instead of "destroy"

Don't really know if they could do that either, since you cant send Tokens to the Graveyard.
Ex: Arcana Force Light Ruler
Regardless, they will just make up something to give us the right wording for it.

You can "Send" tokens as long as it's not for a cost like EX.

Synchros can "Send" them and effects can, too.

So... Mecha Phantom Beast Colt-Wing does a Sonic Boom with such rippling effect, that it manages to effect all other Phantom-friends, and at the same time it achieves its destiny by becoming stronger and realizing its true calling.

Oh Konami, your so silly.

Stop it Arm you're hurting my head

OT: Yay another 1-of for Planes. This card looks like some trolly fun.
