Art is good, typings are good, stats are bad, can't be made in much (pretty much only MPBs while you have no Tokens, in other words, very situational), effect is good, but the stats and the further unneeded stat decrease of this card, along with it being playable only very situationally in one deck, ruins this card. Mediocre.

I'm more interested in the fact that this article confirms Duckfighter as an import. Or I suppose I should say concerned. Because the rumor I've been seeing circulated mentioned the OCG imports for this set as Duckfighter, Sombres, Omega, Kerykeion, and all 4 baby E-Dragons. (Though I've also seen Coat of Arms in place of Duckfighter)

 

This card itself however is just bad.

This card is great! Players love negating stuff so this must be awesome. Plus it's so easy to bring out. Just Rabbit into Avian/Duck Fighter and boom instant-negator. Or you could use the new, super awesome and never-situational Duck Fighter in combination with Mecha Phantom Beasts to go into this. Duck Fighter clears your field of your MPB Tokens and even has 1300 WHOLE ATK POINTS! That's makes it infinitenly better than the Tokens. So what if he doesn't give your other MPBs protection, it has 1300 ATK points. This card kicks butt.

I feel like it deserves a bit of credit...although that last line IS completely unneccesary. Negating any Spell/Trap isn't terrible, and it could be OK to put under Safe Zone. It's not great, but I feel like it has potential.

This card isn't bad at all. It's a 1900 Dark Bribe. Yes, it loses 300 after, but so what? Dark Bribe can seal deals, especially when toolboxed and not giving the opponent a draw.

 

The only thing "bad" about it is a lack of valid things to make it that aren't MPB, and I dunno about you, but I certainly wouldn't wanna see this with backrow anymore than I'd like to see Laggia with backrow. It's more generic and a lower rank, so of course it's no Laggia, but it's still not bad at all.

On the slight subject of Lightning...

2 Lightning
Lightning + Dragon to Graveyard -> Tempest
Banish Tempest for REDMD -> Add Lightning
NS Lightning and SS Lightning from Graveyard w/ REDMD
Make Totem Bird with 2 Lightning
You can make it with a REDMD and Lightning in hand, as well as a Tempest and Lightning in the Deck.
Feels about as situational as making the Mermail Xyz in Dragons, but they run that anyway, so...

Also, it's secretly Banifish support.

It should be generic. Otherwise the stats are kind of like Breaker's, and the effect is pretty nice.

It'd be pure evil if it was generic. It'd be Tour Guide's version of Laggia in Rabbit Decks. Granted, much weaker and only negates S/Ts, but it still would be frustrating.

 

Obviously meant for Mecha Phantoms to use...but Mecha Phantom Beasts almost never make Rank 3s. They're more likely to make Rank 4, 7, 10, and sometimes 6 or 9. You usually have to go out of your way to make a Rank 3, and while the same is somewhat true for Rank 4s, Lightning Chidori makes up for that.

 

Although I suppose it'd be more playable with things like Token Christmas or whatever holiday, or that Mecha Phantom support that negates the SSed Mechas effects.
