I heard that one of the reasons why Duality went to 2 was because Konami printed this and got scared of the two in conjunction as a consistency engine, so they decided to make that engine 1/6 less consistent. Although I'd rather have 2 cardcars and 3 duality. It seems like the better design choice (less +1s, more consistency) as well as the better choice in practice, given that more decks can use duality than cardcar. Cute Rotten Yoshika Posted June 23, 2013 Report Share Posted June 23, 2013 cardcar is actually really good in almost any control deck, thats just irrelevant because in this format control decks die. its just an all around incredible card, not "overhyped" in the slightest (lmfao), and incredibly balanced to boot. its unfortunate that its also incredibly expensive, and the reprint should help with that a bunch. Pulled like a $30-50 card, and a secret rare. - Aww...there's a different Secret Rare from this pack I badly wanted... Card only really works in Decks that can afford to end their turn immediately, such as burn (just set your important cards first) or OTK Decks, or Decks that run other cards like Duality. I know you can't splash it into every deck, I was just agreeing that people overhyped the card thinking they can put it in any deck or just so they can make more money. This is exactly it. It's like when people were like "PUT DUALITY IN EVERY DECK" when Duality didn't go in every deck. There is no "issue" with cardcar, nobody said there was an issue. Posted June 27, 2013 Report Share Posted June 27, 2013 Card only really works in Decks that can afford to end their turn immediately-To be fair, though, if you already have a field that does stuff and can make some plays, without Special Summoning/Using your Battle Phase, then Car D just becomes winmoar.Like, your field could consist of: Dark End, Lyla, and This.
