X-Metaman
Target the Xyz Monster you control with the highest Rank; Special Summon from your Extra Deck 1 Xyz Monster that is 1 or 2 Ranks higher than that target, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw: You can add this card from your Graveyard to your hand. So here's our four RUM card. It can target any Xyz Monster and is reusable.. evilfusion
First of all, I totally called it that there would be a Rank-Up Magic representing the Astral World. Card is...interesting. Actually, it's totally and utterly broken. There's no restriction on this at all. You can use it on any Xyz (provided it has the highest Rank) and you can Summon ANY Xyz, so long as it's 1 OR 2 Ranks higher. Typing doesn't matter, it's not restricted to CXyz or Number Cs, and you can grab it back during your Draw Phase and play it again. The Summoned monster is considered an Xyz Summon, gets all the Materials of the predecessor, and can attack, use its effects, etc. Seriously, it's too flexible and lenient. BoricuaBeast
That's the new one they're releasing this episode? It seems so broken though... I know it's an anime effect, but damn. Well, I did hear something about a rank 10 "New Orders" monster from the episode preview last week, so I feel where this is coming from.
Maeriberii Haan
Use this to update a used Dracossack/Big eye into Heart-eartH. Or from any rank 4 into Norito/PSB/Gauntlet. You might be able to upgrade a Felgrand or a Gimmick puppet into a SUPER! DIMENSIONAL! GALAXY! DESTROYER! So yeah, this'll be nerfed. Hard. hexcalibrate
this is a very interesting card, given enough time you could turn a galaxy queen into a robot galaxy destroyer with a ridiculous amount xyz material, I wonder if "coach" burn is now a possibility

vla1ne
I could literally drop this on a rank four, summon a rank 5 or 6, use that things effect, overlay gaia charger, then drop another one and get whatever else I wanted that's rank 8 or 9. and then next turn I could do it all again.... calling it now, this thing is gonna get nerfed badly if they release it. Maeriberii Haan
Anyway, would the return effect stacks for multiple copies? Since if it does, the Rank-up star chart has just become crazy insane good.

If we go by the rules for Iron core of koa'ki meiru, then it shouldn't, but seeing as you never know how konami's gonna do things....
Maeriberii Haan
Well, that slightly balances this card. Hey, since this is all but confirmed to be released in LOTV, how do you guys think Konami would nerf this card?
~British Soul~
"Same-type", that's the only nerf I can see for this card if they don't release the NOs. Though IF they do release the NO cards, then there will be a different nerf for this card.
玄魔の王
Dragon Rulers love this card. They now have access to all those great high-rank Xyz, including Ultimatrainer and Neo Galaxy-Eyes.
heraldry_lord
Dragon Rulers love this card. They now have access to all those great high-rank Xyz, including Ultimatrainer and Neo Galaxy-Eyes. They also have access to Felgrand, Heart-eartH Dragon, Dyson Sphere, all the Gimmick Puppet Xyz's, Heliopolis, Zombiestein, Thunder End Dragon, etc, etc. You can Rank Up Dark Mist into an Evolzar for moar negations. You can Rank Up a spent Number 50 into a Volcasaurus. Or how about dat spent Gauntlet Launcher into Big Eye/Dracossack/Master of Blades. The list goes on and on as to what this card is capable of as it stands. If this card isn't nerfed, it'd prove to me that Konami is trying to make RUM good (and making it too good in the process). But hey, on the bright side, it makes Zereort, Abyss Splash and Heart-eartH Dragon more playable.
Thomas★Zero
Could see this being nerfed into being that the new monster has to share the same Type or Attribute (could both) as the monster it was ranked up from... ...still means you can Rank up your Utopia into a (1 to 3 material) Constellar Pleiades. Aerion Brightflame
That is the Emperor's Key right? Also omg the brokeness. If NO8 becomes just a RUM searcher, then Photon's become an amazing toolbox deck, as do Gimmick Puppets. Likely it will have a type or attribute restriction to it more than anything. But like even with just a type restriction: Sun Dragon Overlord -> Heart-eartH Dragon. Any of the gimmick puppets into Gustav, Paladus into Shock Bouncer, Tour Guide goes into Plieades ect ect. Canadian
Does it matter if the Xyz monster requires specific materials? Can I go TGU > TGU > RUM > Evolzar Laggia?

Aerion Brightflame
Personally I'd rather go from Tour Guide to Plieades. Also this means that any rank 4 deck gets acces to a S/T negator, and a spell negator, as well as 3 monster pops. Card is crazy.
vla1ne
Behold ladies and gentlemen; the single most versatile card in the zexal universe. if it isn't nerefed hard, then konami had best either limit it to 1 or just never bring it into the game. If anybody had posted a card like this in the realistic cards thread, they would have never been allowed to live it down.
玄魔の王
Personally, I think a OPT clase would at least reign it in. Type restriction is what killed two of the prior RUMs, but beyond that it means the NOs no longer work with it.
Toffee.
You know, why am I not surprised his Rank-Up card is re-usable?I mean, it's not like he was going to play anything else, really :/As for the card itself, it's pretty ridiculous, given the fact that any Xyz you control will just become anything else. Though, that was probably on purpose, when you take into consideration Xyz monsters basically originated from the Astral World in the first place(or at least, they imply it)

Des HERO
This card brings back memories of the first translation of RUM-BF. *ahem* I really hope that Proto and the other filler villains using Shining Xyzs don't use this card in the next Arc. This card feels more fitting to be only used by Eliphas, the will of the Astral World and the guy who is obsessed with Ranking-Up the Astral World to omnipotence. Plus, it would be annoying if EVERY single Astral mook uses this card to Rank-Up their monster into ANOTHER Rank 12 monster in their debut duel. I have to admit that the card is broken by even Anime standards. However, the Anime has a tendency of not specifying requirements on the lore. Take Barian's Force as an example - if I recall correctly, we didn't know that it could Rank-Up Numbers into Chaos Numbers until Misael used it. And don't forget that the translation of the summoning requirements for Chaos Numbers wasn't perfect at first. I wouldn't be surprised if this card is exclusive to only the New Orders monsters. I predict that either: 1. It gets released in LOTV with the restriction to only Rank-Up Xyz Monsters into “New Orders” monsters. Because of the small space LOTV has for Xyz Monsters, I think it is unlikely. 2. Konami makes another Number Hunters/Zexal Collectors Pack with this, the New Orders and the potential Shining Xyzs in it. This can enable it to be used on “New Orders” and “Shining Xyz” monsters only as a nerf. This scenario is more likely than the first option, but it is implying that the Astral mooks use RUM-AF to Rank-Up their Xyz Monsters into Shining Xyzs.
