~British Soul~
Reptile/Xyz/Effect 2 Level 8 monsters When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can add 1 Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; activate 1 Spell/Trap Card from your hand. >When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can add 1 Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. Remember when we were saying that RUM should get a searcher? Well this is even better as it can grab any S/T discuss
Maeriberii Haan
This card is crazy insane. Expect this to either be nerfed hard or hit the banlist fast. A nifty trick. In a BEWD.dek, xyz this and search for Champion's Vigilance/Burst Stream of Destruction. Now you have a Judgment/Raigeki handtrap. Anyway, quick ruling question. Will the card activated stay in your hand or get sent to the graveyard? And this card is insane. I can repeat this how many times I can, because it is insane. ~British Soul~
This card is crazy insane. Expect this to either be nerfed hard or hit the banlist fast. OR the 3rd (and most likely) option: This stays anime-only Anyway, quick ruling question. Will the card activated stay in your hand or get sent to the graveyard? It'd go to the grave obvs, we had a card like this for Traps (Jetroid).
vla1ne
A high-level broken effect reptile monster that's actually easy to use? What is going on!?
Maeriberii Haan
Iirc, the only anime card series that hasn't been released is Cats. Others are released, even if they don't, their Xyzes should get released. So yeah, this thing'll be released.
Althemia
Tech Astral Magic in Constellar so you can make this from any 2 Level 4 LIGHTs. I'm really not liking these New Orders, they seem ridiculously powercreeped for no good reason whatsoever
Maeriberii Haan
They're basically Konmai's way of saying "Well, so the Rank-up mechanic is underpowered eh? How about now?"
Canadian
I'm willing to bet you'll only be able to search a Rank-Up Magic card upon this cards release.
玄魔の王
I'm wih the crowd, this will be a RUM searcher, but even then it's well worth running.
Toffee.
>Searches any Spell>Can activate any Spell/Trap from Hand during either player's turnOh for the love of....Guys, it's obviously meant to let you activate Sparks on the Opponent's turn. Not-so-Radiant Arin
So......good thing Reborn was banned, ehh?
Maeriberii Haan
And heavy, oh you can't forget it. This plus a Heavy in your hand will deter your opponent from playing any backrow. Also, on the notion of this becoming a RUM searcher, what about the other effect? Both of its effect are of equal potency, and it can't just get released with either of its effects unchanged. Still, if this is the only RUM searcher, it's really disappointing.
Toffee.
'Cept Heavy is banned.Although, something as silly as Lightning Vortex on the Opponent's turn would be pretty hilarious.
Lonk
Alright Konami, I know that I wanted more useful Rank 8s, but this is absolutely bonkers. It's incredibly borked, busted, stupid, and it makes your mom have a job and become a respected member of the community. It's just that badly designed. Sora1499
So basically all your traps become hand traps. Fun fun fun.
Maeriberii Haan
...wait, since this should have the same ruling as D-Dude, so wouldn't that mean you can pull something like Abundance/Short Circuit or other mass-kill effect with this? evilfusion
Light...2 Material Rank 8...gives you card advantage for Summoning it in the form of ANY S/T from your Deck. Galaxy-Eyes likes. Okay, not really, but obviously, it simply can't be released to be that flexible. It needs to have...oh god, why do I even bother stating this? The episode deliberately designed these cards to give an overwhelming advantage with absurd flexibility. If they were released, they'd be nerfed badly. Aerion Brightflame
Make in Photons/gimmick puppets. Search for Astral Force. Make Heart-eartH Dragon with 3 materials. Laugh. That sounds like what my average duel would be with this thing around. It's sooooo borked, like most of Eliphas's stuff. I mean it's like Boss levels of bork, only used by essentially a one time character.
Darj
I like the concept of this card: a LIGHT Reptile-Type monster that resembles a salamander (even though it should be a crocodile because Sebek reference). I wish Konami releases an archetype of monsters like this (unrelated to Sebek, of course). Everyone already mentioned how this card is overpowered so I am more interested in discussing the mechanics of this card like, how a chain involving Sebek would work? Chain Link 1: Opponent's card effect Chain Link 2: Sebek's effect and the S/T Card from hand at the same time? Or in another words, Sebek's effect becomes the effect of the activated S/T Card? Or the S/T card would become Chain Link 3? Or it would start a new chain? If any of the last 2 questions is correct, then if you attempt to activate a Counter Trap or, let's say, a BTH on a monster's Summon through Sebek's effect, wouldn't you be unable to do so because those cards would miss their timing since Sebek's effect gets in the middle of the chain? Finally, if the opponent's chains a card effect to Sebek, there is now way he/she will see which card you are activating from the hand, right? I guess this could lead to weird mind games where the opponent won't know what is coming and decide to spend resources in fear of a Dark Hole, random Night Beam, etc.

It would have to be more in line with cards like Junk Collector and Fake Feather, in that you make it copy and apply the chosen card's effect. In the anime, it'd be an extremely simple concept, but the RL game would throw a fit over how it's written.
heraldry_lord
If they release this card, they may as well make it a vanilla, because after they push it through the nerf machine, it'll likely become useless with how busted its effect is. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Actually, I don't think it has a problem at all (in terms of wording). It would work the exact same as something like Jetroid, really.
