T.G. Jet Falcon and Catapult Dragon

Really, why do these two lack the infamous searching effect that TGs share?
I mean, the other relevant TG pairs(Striker and Wolf, Magician and Rhino, etc) have it, and it's what allows them to be so potent BECAUSE they can set up such combos. So why were these two shafted of such privileges? And don't say its because of Rarities; Wolf is a Common, Striker/Rhino are Rare, and Magician is Super because it Synchros from the Hand. So that point is irrelevant.

tl;dr These could be more viable if they had the same TG clause as the other non-Synchros.

But because of the way TGs are designed, it's only possible use(Among it's Archetype, of course) is with Catapult.
Since TGs are Level 5 Synchros n' junk.

Still, I think these might deserve the effect. Although I'm fine with spamming TG Jet Falcon and De-Synchro. And BTW, Catapult could Special Summon another monster with his effect. With the once per turn effect, maybe, just MAYBE, is he (the dragon) reasonable not to search other monsters out with. I mean you could De-Synchro and spam all day.

Jet Falcon is mainly a shame to TGs.

The reason why these two don't search is because they're the later batch of cards in the anime.  Notice how the ones that have search effects are used in the first duel with Bruno.

De-Synchro doesn't trigger the search effect. And even if you are using De-Synchro just for the sake of getting another Catapult off; Catapult is dead in literally every other scenario. The fact TG monsters, in general, can set up their combo plays via searching IS the reason they are effective in doing what they do, as they literally are engineered to let you set up such instances without requiring you to jump through 500+ hoops; This ensures consistency as the Archetype is half Toolbox. Add to it, the ability to toolbox stuff also serves as a partial safety net in the event they Torrential/Veiler/Chain/etc your monsters, as if they are destroyed later on it gives you something to fall back on, and doesn't force you into a pressured scenario.

Also, as far as "better" TGs; It's only really Drill Barnacle, and to an extent, Gear Zombie.
I'm disregarding the Synchros for this.

That Jet Falcon's design is questionable at best, and the Catapult is just fucking tupid. Drawing as a reward for playing Hyper Librarian/an MST tuner, yay! Totally thought out design!

The cards should have just had the search added, nothing more.

Okay on a serious note. They shouldve had the same search effects as the other 4. Not only that but if anything, konami should given falco some sort of level modulation for t.g. synchroing given how no one wants to synch into recipro fly, especially since the other tgs weren't released :(.

I did say TG "pairs" in the OP, so let me explain;
Striker is a 2 and Warwolf is a 3; They Tune for a Level 5.
Cyber Magician is a 1 and Rush Rhino is a 4; They Tune for a Level 5.
Jet Falcon is a 3 and Catapult Dragon is a 2; They Tune for a Level 5.
Gear Zombie is a 1 and Drill Fish is a 1; They Tune for a Level 2.
Wonder Magician is a 5 and Power Gladiator is a 5; They Tune for a Level 10.
The fact they search each other, is how you achieve these pairs, and preform said Synchro combos.

Yeah I get that. More specifically what I meant for level modulation is if falco could make another t.g. and itself level 1s for the synchro summon of a level 2 synchro...and fhats about it and it would take the place of the last synchro pair (fish and zombie) while still being able to synch for 5s.

The deck already does that. 3 Rhino 3 Warwolf 2 Striker (and 1 Cyber Magician if you're terrible like me) makes 8-9 TGs. It's not really enough to make a good TG Synchro deck, but it makes up more than half the monsters of TG Stun. Which is better, anyway.

Even a redundant effect that supports the archetype is something. I agree Dragon would be better as a Junk Synchron for the deck though, but I'm not sure what to do about Eagle since there's really no way to make that effect useful.

It's a searchable Winged Beast that probably was brought to your hand as a +1 anyways. If it had a self Special Summon clause rather than a searching one, that'd be ok by me.
