newhat Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 The ATK gap it closes is tiny, but it's awesome if your opponent is running few to no Traps. Machine is probably the best Type for this, being sticky because of Gearframe and the MPB Decoy mechanic. Trebuchet MS Posted October 16, 2013 Report Share Posted October 16, 2013 400 ATK may seem like nothing, but due to the stat trends on most monsters, by the time you cross 2400 ATK, every little boost in ATK can mean the difference between victory or defeat against common opposing beatsticks in direct combat. If you are worried of Traps, you can even safely Lance your equipped monster and kick some ass. The boost stays being previously added from Trigger effects, making up for the temporary 800 ATK loss, and the other effect is not meant to affect your Lanced monster but the opponent's. I haven't ever seen or heard of any others.Aside from silly things like Aqua Jet, nope. Pretty sure Gravity Blaster is the only one with a continuous and permanent ATK boost.
