Think about the cards you ran in your Deck when you were 8. Those are the Decks I prefer to face/support/play. And those are the cards I make. That way keeps the game more interesting. Also, relying on topdecking is considerably worse than relying on the Grave, from a design point of view. Reliance on the Graveyard usually means that you have to spend effort and resources to set it up, while Topdecking means... well... being lucky. Or playing Feather of the Phoenix to minus yourself by like 5 cards at once. OT: Everything about the OCG that can be said has already been said. If we're being totally honest here, if Konami takes yet another massive brick to the head and Brionac somehow comes back, I will immediately be combining him with a full playset each of "Degenerate Circuit" and "Solemn Wishes". They're used as side cards that just say "You can't play Yugioh". They were always labeled as unfair cards. Never outright degenerate, but that's because Konami was never trying to truly improve the gamestate and they generally weren't 110% degenerate. Then Tewart got the TCG's hands on its own list, and they tried to remove unfair things. With Heavy at 0, you can activate 1-2 D-Fissure and set 2 Macro and really give no fucks about what the opponent does ever, effectively shutting them down. There is Exciton/Black Rose, but those still aren't enough reason to allow those cards at 3 each. That's 6 cards to answer with 3 MST. Sure, Night Beam and other such exist, but those suck. God FORBID Konami try to improve the game in the TCG. Hell, we should just copy the OCG and make it an even bigger shitfest than it naturally is thanks to PRIO and somewhat LVAL lately. Especially when the chance of opening with it is actually pretty high (~16% if I remember my math correctly). What should have happened instead was a card like Storm (something that never caught on unfortunately), so maybe, we need another version, one that compromises.
