If you think about it, it's almost always a plus.

The player that activates it will do something to trigger it within the same turn. Then when your opponent gets rid of it (if they have something that can do it), they are spending something on it, which would make this card a +0 bait if it hadn't already been used once.

There's also that Set MSTs for End Phase use haven't been happening for a while as far as I've seen, and MST during your opponent's turn is probably the main way this would end as just +0 bait.

The posts there look realllly ignorant.

Not necessarily -- at least one has retained his weird logic intact through all the three-plus years I've seen him post there, a few others have a problem with me (as almost to a man I've been the only one who cares about shit design even in lower-tier decks), and the rest dismiss the chances of this becoming meta-relevant in the OCG, where this will first see play.

tl;dr = They hate me, they hate hype, and they remember the whole Grapha boondoggle quite well.

But we have countless non-destruction removal options! And with non-floaters, it's just a 1-for-1! And it only helps crappy decks!

Whilst I get that this was presumably sarcasm, I felt that the one for one part deserved attention:

If all of your monsters die out as a one for one for you, you get long term advantage because the opponent more than likely isn't doing the same, you're going to have more resources than him for longer, and drain him down very effectively compared to how it is for your opponent to drain you down.

And when the format is a grindy one, that means a world of difference. Especially when a grindy format suits this better anyhow since you know the game lasting longer and more cards getting played means more chances to use this.

So even if it is technically a 1 for 1, if every single play you make is a 1 for 1 or better and your opponents isn't, you have the advantage by far and away.

But we have countless non-destruction removal-

Dark Hole destroys.
Warning destroys.
Torrential destroys.
Mirror Force destroys.
Dire Wolf destroys.
Scrap Dragon destroys.
Jeweled Red destroys.
Zenmain destroys.
The Artifact "engine" destroys.
Most boss monsters destroy.
Being destroyed by battle is still destruction.
Bottomless destroys then Banishes- owait, this card doesn't care if the destroyed monster is Banished or not.
etc
etc

Yeah I apologize at my joke.

=P

So how often do you guys manage to get 2-3 out on the field?

I'm loving the idea of MST bait though (not the purpose of the card but seriously it's good bait)

I tested it last night when PercyPro updated, and honestly the duels never lasted long enough for me to get two.
