Blake
http://www.ygorganization.com/ocg-0403-ruling-reviews/ It no longer activate when it rams. Among others like it.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Q: If Fenrir attacks a face-down Man-Eater Bug, Old Vindictive Magician or Night Assailant, so that Fenrir is destroyed After Damage Calculation by their effects, is the opponent’s next Draw Phase skipped by the effect of Fenrir? A: In that case, since Fenrir is destroyed by the effect of Man-Eater Bug and so on, the effect of Fenrir does not activate. This eratta (appears to be one, not just a ruling change) disappoints me slightly. Now those monsters are no longer unique.
Wildflame
Not extremely relevant but a bit sad I guess.
Azuh
So technically this card should say that "It needs to be face up to activate and resolve the effect" right?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
So technically this card should say that "It needs to be face up to activate and resolve the effect" right? Based on the article, it seems that they're just changing the wording to say that it's at the end of the Damage Step and such.
Canadian
I don't care what they decide to do with their effects. All I want is for all of them to work the same way...

That's probably why they're doing it. For the sake of consistency.
Sleepy
Turn is capitalized? Konami has been changing how some terms are written a few times lately. Battle Damage is no longer capitalized in cards from the Premium Gold set, which I still can't get accustomed to. OT: This might sound silly but does this affect all "when it battles" monsters? With a similar effect I can only recall Hydrogeddon and that spaceship card, but let's say umm... Hyper Hammerhead for example, which is not exactly a similar effect but it's something that also activates through battles.

Right now, the changes seem almost specific to when monsters have effects that activate when they destroy something by battle (without needing to "send to Graveyard"). Hyper Hammerhead is supposed to activate even when it is destroyed, so long as the other monster was NOT.

Toffee.
At least they're trying. That gives them points in my book. But this shouldn't have been a thing for them to do. Even if it WAS for profits(with the original Strike, of course), it was still outright stupid.
