The Blur God Came To Yu-Gi-Oh! [Artifact Scythe]

Jeez, it's almost as if Tewart didn't want El-Shadoll Midrash to hinder Artifacts.

I mean, if you're using this/Theosophy before they use Shadoll Fusion, you're overpredicting 9/10 and you're going to get screwed over for it.

If you respond to Shadoll Fusion with this/Theo, it does nothing because the colon indicates it activates and isn't continuous.

So Midrash gets out either way and doesn't really care, especially when she'd further restrict SSing anyways.

And that's assuming Shadolls aren't going to be shit.

The name is amazing IMO

I mean the Scythe is just a bad-as weapon so the name is fitting

My main concern with it it that they might change the name of the others to something lame like "Artifact Axe", "Artifact Bow" and stuff. Definitely don't want that. Scythe doesn't sound so bad, but they could have named it like a legendary scythe or something, idk.

Also, this (somehow) helps to even out the powerlevels of OCG and TCG in terms of exclusives. It's been a while since we got really good ones.

Well, glad that it isn't continuous.  It still is pretty stupid design.  I mean, you flip Theosophy on your opponent's Draw Phase and 80% of the time, that player wins just because they locked out their opponent's Extra Deck in a critical moment.

But that's dumb as hell.

"Oh, what's that? You keep me from using my ED this turn? Okay, I duality/cardcar/bear/etc. and give no fucks."

In a critical moment maybe but then you're not likely +ing off of it, and that will still cost you the game.

It should be used just like Moralltach; An answer you have to think ahead with because it can't immediately respond to, say, a continuous spell (Moralltach) or inherent summon/effect (this).

I mean, you don't flip Vanity's just because you can, so why would you just theosophy this?

This card is an overkill in my opinion; as if destroying a monster during the opponent's turn with Theosophy --> Moralltach was not enough. I find interesting how Theosophy automatically becomes better as more (good) Artifacts are revealed.

Since this card is not named after a legendary weapon, I hope this doesn't mean TCG will translate the Artifact's names as "Artifact Axe" (Labrys), "Artifact Bow" (Failnaught), etc., which would be lame.
