NECH-JP026 Apoqliphoth Killer - We have our boss monster.

Recommended Posts

The fact that we have to rely on Chimeratech as an out is ridiculous in itself and not something to be lauded.

You can make Apoqliphoth on turn 1. Hand: Qliphoth Tool, Qliphothtress, Entermate Trampolynx, 2 random Qliphoths.

Activate Tool, search Disk.
Activate Trampolynx.
Pendulum Summon 2 random Qliphoths, bounce Tool.
Activate Tool, search Apoqliphoth.
Activate Qliphothtress, Normal Summon Disk.
Special Summon 2 Qliphoths from Deck.
Normal Summon Apoqliphoth.

Not that you would really want to in most cases, but it's very possible.

Shouldn't Tool add Apo, Tramp Tool and search another fodder, PS three fodder and tribute for Apo work better as a 4 card combo (and not using fortress even)?

Also, a question. Been hearing here and there that pendulum monsters can't be Chimera'd (not that it's the case for Apo but yeah), that is true, no?

It's literally a 1 card out but the question is what decks have 3 spaces in the side and can reliably add Cyber Dragons?

Clearly Blackwings.

Either a Synchro or Level 5 monster deck could work, though to my knowledge, that means Yang Zing, right? Though couldn't Shaddolls pull it off?

You need Fortress to be able to summon Apoqliphoth after you summon Disk. You'd want to summon Disk to get more Qliphoths out of the deck and into the Extra. I'd rather have Disk + 2 Archive + 2 Genome in the Extra so I can draw into Disks and Shells rather than just 3 Genome/Archive.

You can Chimeratech them. They're summoning conditions, not effects that start a chain. Same reason you can Golem/Queen.

I assume it's because they can't go to the graveyard. This means if you go the Fortress way you use 3 side spaces and 1 extra space literally to out a single card from the deck (that they may or may not drop another copy of). There has to be something better. There MUST.

Yang Zing could use Cydra I guess if they don't get out Quasar (but why in Yang Zing). Dolls would realistically have to use CotH on a Cydra they fused but that means they would have CotH which I don't think they use. Like if any deck ALWAYS has a monster it's Shaddoll.

Does it lose by 100 ATK or will it end up at 3000?

It'll end up at 3100 assuming they have tool and something else but if they have 2 ATK modifiers you still lose.

I'm just gonna side in another Excal in Tellas and I'll figure out something for other decks.

So basically, the only way to beat this is to (special) summon a monster with 3500+ ATK in one turn.

Chimeratech is a 1 card out that still removes it even if they negate it.

Excal becomes 4000.

DRXD if they leave one out next to Killer.

Lava Golem/Satan Claws/Volcanic Queen

Skill Drain pre-emptively

Neo Tachyon is gonna run this over anyway, but can negate it. (Use the Seventh One)

In terms of Kabbalah, I'm very certain that this guy stands as either Keter or Da'at. Granted, it could also be Malkuth, since in that one trap where you get a close-up of the Sephiroth, you see Tool integrating with the Tiferet Sephirot. Which means trying to accurately guess which Qliphoth is which Sephirot is kinda moot.

I like how you all are going to run Skill Drain in Qliphoths when I'm going to use something that requires a bit more skill but lets Shell keep the piercing doubletaps, making it a secondary boss overall.

Also, this helps with the Archetype overall by restoring their lost ATK power:

I don't think anyone is gonna run Skill Drain with all the support revealed. Then again, no one outside of Japan can use the deck yet.

Also, tributing puts cards in the extra.

Tool isn't integrating with the Tree of Life, it's coming out of the Tif'eret. It's an inverted Tree and each of the ten Sephirot houses the core of one of the Gem-Knights. Each one generates a different Qliphoth.

Hence why I said it requires a bit more skill. You Pendulum the fodders back out and then activate Erupt. Even better if you used Escalation to Summon Shell/Killer on the opponent's turn.

That's not skill, that's straight up bad deckbuilding that results in dead draws.

Was discussing with another member, and they found another meaning for Shekhinah. Malkuth, the bottom of the ten Sephirot that links it to the Qliphoth. Which means that, given the upside down tree... It's likely that Nephilim/Killer's fusion now has the powers of both the Sephiroth (Naturia Sacred Tree) and the entire Qliphoth now.

But, the problem is that only 9 spheres came out of Egrystal's body. So what creates the 10th? My theory is that Tool is the Qliphoth that activates the Tree, and thus begins Qliphoth production.

EDIT: Nevermind, I can't count. 10 spheres leave Egrystal's body. I assume the rainbow coloured one that leaves him last is probably the one that becomes Apoqliphoth. It would make sense as to how Nephilim took it over, since the Rainbow is obviously Crystal's core.
