Shradow
Did someone say alcohol? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Qsw2X1EKwg But yeah, I never plan on drinking intentionally. I accidentally had some when I was little because I thought it was apple juice. It was not apple juice.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Still 16 months under the legal age limit for the USA, so can't consume it (in public anyway), nor can I help parents carry it out of the store [meaning no carrying them with parent a couple inches behind]. Other than that, can't really say much aside from seeing my parents drink sometimes (usually Kirin Ichiban). Once I come of age, I'll try not to drink intentionally (may end up doing it at some point when I go to work, but do it in moderation).
mitchermitcher
The thought of being drunk and not being in complete control of my actions and thoughts terrify me, so I'll probably never consciously try to consume alcohol. If I'm aware there are some types that don't get you drunk, but eh, I'm not that curious to try it. With that said, I kinda apply the same philosophy here as I do for smoking. Never do it, never judge someone for doing it.

It's a weird feeling and you're definitely not yourself so I can see why you still wouldn't want to try it, but it's more like you would do what you try not to do usually. If you think you want to do something and then think to yourself that it's not appropriate, you're more likely to do it. If you wanted to ask a girl out at a party and you were drunk, normally you wouldn't because you would be too shy but while drunk you'd go for it. (this is more or less an example of me). ALSO CONS OF BEING DRUNK DOING THINGS THAT YOU WOULDN'T NORMALLY DO: STRIPPING DOWN TO BOXERS AND PRETENDING TO BE A LAWNMOWER IS SOMETHING THAT I WILL LAUGH AT AND BE LAUGHED AT FOREVER FOR DOINGAlso, I love vodka. Soooo good. Bourbon is alright and so is beer. Wine is eh, and I can't stand Whiskey. I don't know why I'd rather just shots for days over anything else haha
mitchermitcher
Yeah, that's the thing, I don't have my mental limiters while drunk. I suppose wording it as 'not in control' would be not quite accurate, but it terrifies me that I'd be more proactive with my thoughts. I'd see a girl, rape 'er down on the streets and wake up with my ass in jail. Or on my bed with said girl, and I won't remember the juicy parts. And then live with the fact that I did something I wouldn't have done. I suppose it's useful when trying to gather your guts together to ask out a girl, but really, I legit don't like it. Cin
I would never drink, never understood why people need to get so blind drunk they end visiting A&E because of the damage the drink has done to their system or they got into a fight whilst drunk. Or getting so drunk you have no idea what you did last night. Maybe I watch too many of the Police programs on Pick TV where most of the people are in are just out of their mind drunk. Or being around drunk people feels awkward. (I had that when I was 17).

And not remembering the juicy parts could be a very huge downside haha.Yeah, that's a fair enough point. I just drink it to have some fun at parties and go crazy ahaha. I haven't done anything properly stupid yet.
Fusion X. Denver
The novelty of it's starting to wear off for me. I had a bad experience with heavy drinking a couple months ago and I really don't want to go through that again, so I'm taking it easy whenever I do. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I....think I may have made my opinions on this clear several times. But basically, if you want to have at it, I don't think I'll ever drink much. Maybe a bit and maybe I'll get drunk once to know what it feels like. But not something I have any interest in. Too many negatives for the possible positives. Plus, blah blah alcoholic family members, blah blah bitter about drinking blah blah.
Agro
I finally had a few drinks a little while ago. It does take a lot to actually get yourself drunk, depending on what you're having. One or two bottles may not even do anything. The problem with most alcaholic beverages is that they all taste like shit. Except Mike's Hard so far, I've been really liking that. Red's Apple Ale isn't too shabby either. Will be getting to others at some point, and my friend's 21st birthday's on Friday, so I'll let you all know how it goes. OH I COULD DO A DRUNK AMA
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
From what I've heard, the only good tasting alcohol are the ones that taste nothing like alcohol, but instead a totally different drink.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Mix a vegas bomb and a long island. It's called a Hiroshima for very racist reasons. Mixing a cherry bomb and a long island can also be good but it's called an Irish Whore. Pearl Harbors are decent. Melon liquour and white rum with pineapple. Tentacruel
From what I've heard, the only good tasting alcohol are the ones that taste nothing like alcohol, but instead a totally different drink. Those can be a bit dangerous actually, as you can easily drink too much without realizing it. That being said, I want to try some weirder cocktails. So I tried some Cabernet, very bitter. It was tolerable though, so I think I might like some sweeter wines.
Thar
Vodka is a good way to start. Take pretty much any drink, and it adds an edge to it without affecting the taste entirely. If taste isn't an issue and you're looking for something different; Whiskey is a great way to add edge and will definitely make you consider moderating yourself (it also cures toothaches, according to Family Guy.) Triple Sec is also a good and strong drink if you like citrus.

a bad post
I don't mind alcohol, but never have any intention of getting drunk in my life. Not for any specific reason, it's just a feeling I have no desire to feel. My first drink you could say was at about the age of 8 at a church fair. It was really hot out, and I was thirsty. Here I see a table that has small glasses filled with clear liquid. I don't even think before gulping one down, about have of the shot is still in my mouth when my throat starts burning, and I actually start tasting what's in my mouth. Only after I spit the rest of it out, and finished gagging did I figure out it was actually Ouzo, and not water. Never did figure out why they left a table of alcohol unattended. Tentacruel
Take 1 shot of Everclear. You'll black out in seconds. Yeah, that stuff is really hard. Personally I'm more interested in tasting different obscure beers, wines and cocktails rather than just downing three Jager bombs and running over an old lady. Dracoswag
For me personally, I never saw a reason to drink UNLESS it was for a special event or gathering of some sort. For example: If alcoholic beverages are offered at a friend's party or at an event of some kind were everyone can enjoy a good time, then that would be the only time I ever drank. I am in no way a casual drinker, as I cannot see myself simply picking up a bottle/can and swigging one down. That is not someone I want to portray myself as. Also, I am a bit nit-picky about my alcoholic beverages, as I am not into any of the hard stuff really. I think one of my favorite alcoholic beverages I had was a Peach Wine beverage I had at a get together party at Home Town Buffet once.

You're going to have to find other outlets to relieve yourself with. There's some tissues waiting for you upstairs. Now, I love you, and I'll remember to announce my presence before I approach.
