Ookaminari [SECE-JP]

Recommended Posts

its a bad lightning vortex

Yeah, my thoughts exactly when I saw this.

I'd rather ditch 1 card to kill stuff over sacrificing my BP.

Though I guess you can use Call of this, and pop your opponent when they try hitting you.

Or conversely, just run Raigeki and shoot down face-down monsters as well (considering Konami just unbanned the darn thing).

Stats are decent enough, I suppose.

This might be a bad attempt at trying to wash away the OCG side's rage of not getting Raigeki back....a very very bad attempt that is not gonna work

A card that resembles Denkou Sekka that's a Level 7 and when it's Special Summoned it pulls off a Raigeki Effect.

Leaker is (mostly) right again. By the way, I'll be adding all of the new stuff to the main post within a couple of days, I'm pretty late on doing it because I'm on a business trip right now.

By just leaving the name as "Okaminari". Alternatively, Lycanthunder.

Lycanthunder.

You listening, konami? Hire this man!

Anyway, the typing frustrates me. With Denkou Sekka, it was cool, and gave hunders a new toy. I can't say the same for this. If it were a beast, it wouls work with ayers rock, which would be awesome.

Lycanthunder wouldn't happen because it's not a "-hunder" card.

I don't mean just Ma/Pa/Sis, but there's a lot of engrish "thunder"/"-hunder" cards that kept the names in English, and the TCG triesto not tread on potential (no matter how silly) archetypal names.

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Hunder

If you look down at the members, they are all "Sanda", and are technically under the name...

So while Lycanthunder makes sense in theory, it would never happen in actuality due to the TCG's absolute avoidance of accidentally putting things in archetypes that will come later (technically -hunder is one, despite the name never being used, so...)

Okaminari seems like it'd be likely as the TCG name.

Well, now i am sad. Also, isn't hunder technically a series, since they have no support cards? (I understand where you are going, though. Legacy support for hunders is very possible)

I was just about to say...last I checked, "Hunder" is not an actual archetype, and all the support for them specify Thunder-Type monsters (often with specific Levels/Type/stats). We just refer to them as "Hunders" because of Mahunder, Pahunder, etc.

Then again, the TCG has been screwed a few times because an old card became part of a future archetype.
