Passion.  Desire.  Self righteousness.  These describe Nova in the most basic, primal sense.  She is a being driven by sheer force of will; she is as ruthless as she is fickle.  Her passion for what she wants drives her to spread towards it like a wildfire; her desire to obtain strength carries that flame.  In this, she is a very self-reliant person, and is hard-pressed to forge any sort of friendships.  When she fails, however, she absolutely gives up, her sense of shame being leagues larger than her sense of satisfaction.  This is by far the worst shortcoming she has.

"When a flame burns, it burns brightly."
x393wz.jpg
Nova's motivation is power.  From an early age, she always desired to be the strongest, most powerful Hunter on the planet; to triumph over everyone, to be looked up to and feared.  This is her drive, her passion, and her source of strength.
A small girl; her parents are nowhere to be found.  She's sitting alone in an alleyway, surrounded by darkness.  An older boy's body sits still, near her.  No sign of life.
742fek5.png

She spent most of her early childhood alone, living off of scraps in the streets.  She had to fight for her food; sometimes, she even had to kill.  Where she lived was without much civilization or healthcare; she was a ghost in the alleyways, scavenging, longing for something more than what she had.

Until he showed up.  A rich kid,
• Emitter:  Given her personality, Nova has a natural affinity for Emission.  All of her emissions manifest themselves as spouts of fire.
 • Fireball:  Simple enough, Nova expels a nen charged "fireball" in a direction.  The heat of the fireball varies; smaller fireballs tend to be more hot and blue in color, whereas larger fireballs tend to be more red in color.
Username: The Pack Star

Name: Alaster vi Florentius

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Human
sample_04c620d5e0334dbcddd1544db3afb268.

Height: 5' 8" (1.73m)

Weight: 150 lbs (72.1kg)

Bold, arrogant, and prideful are all words that have been used to describe young Alaster, and those would be fair descriptions.  He is prideful in that he takes satisfaction in his accomplishments, and is not afraid of letting others know what he has done, often loudly.  This is especially true when there are others around to hear, but hearing the small list of things a young noble boy has managed for himself has a tendency to annoy people.  He is arrogant in that he believes himself to be greater than any opponent he faces, making himself sure in his mind that he can defeat them so that he does not learn to be afraid of those that would oppose him.  Unfortunately, this tends to lead to the odd instance where the young man figuratively bites off more than he can chew.  His boldness comes from his willingness to partake in any challenge, engage in any activity, or experience any sensation at least once, which in turn caries a certain level of danger.  While his demeanor does not change when he is in a fight or stalking his prey, he does become more quiet as his focus shifts from talking to dealing with the situation at hand.  When not "on the job" so to speak, Alaster prefers to augment his otherwise subdued clothing with a number of brightly colored accessories.  Chief among these is a long, bright orange scarf that was given to him by his mother.
Motivation: Alaster wants to become a hunter simply to gain the skills necessary to experience the thrill of hunting the great beasts that roam the land.  It's totally not that he wants to be like his mentor or anything...
Born to the Florentius family, who own a great deal of land among the isles to the west of Azia, Alaster has seen the best of what life can give for as long as he has known.  Of course, all of this came at the price of knowing that one day he would be in charge of the familial holdings, as he is the eldest child of the current head of the family, Maximilian vi Florentius.  To that end, his young life was hardly what one would call fun.  Sure, he never had to worry about things like where his meals would come from or where he would sleep for the next night, but he was also strongly restricted in his behavior.  He had to attend academic lessons taught by tutors, most of whom he loathed for their intensely business-like attitude.  One of the few things he enjoyed in his life were the lessons from Crassus Lorentius, a Hunter who was also a close personal friend of his father.  It was from Crassus that he learned the basics of Nen, and also the art of hand to hand combat with a spear.  His favorite teacher, who also grew to be his friend, also took him on occasional trips into the untamed forests of those lands where the climates were colder so that he could gain some field experience.  It was on one such trip that Alaster met the one that would become his best friend, a lost Dire Wolf Pup with whom he immediately developed a deep connection.  Crassus recognized the connection as being related to the two's Nen, and they spent the rest of the trip solidifying this bond and teaching both Alaster and Rexxus, as he named his new friend, how to use it.  Needless to say, Maximilian was horrified when his son brought back a monster and insisted it stay in the family house.  Unfortunately, Alaster's mother seemed to like the thing and so there was no getting rid of it.  It was a year after Rexxus was brought home that Crassus finally convinced Maximilian to let his son take the Hunter Exam, an idea which Alaster was more than thrilled with.

Nen Ability:  In addition to achieving a mastery of the basics of Nen, though with an obvious preference and aptitude for using Zetsu to track living creatures by their auras, Alaster has manifested his own personal ability.  This is shown in the telepathic link he has with Rexxus, which allows the two to communicate instantaneously with each other across significant ranges and even share sensory data with each other directly.  Currently the two can only directly share sensory data for a few moments at a time, and if one of them wants to share the other has to stop using that sense.  For example, if Rexxus wants Alaster to see something he sees, Alaster can no longer use his own eyes to see.

Hand to hand combat:  Alaster learned a great deal about physical combat from Crassus, to the point that he could hold his own for a time against the veteran hunter.  Of course once he started incorporating Rexxus into their sparring matches, things got far more difficult and the two of them actually managed to best their tutor all of once.  Essentially, Alaster specializes in using the advantage he and Rexxus have in numbers to overwhelm isolated foes.

Stealth:  It's hard to call yourself a hunter if it's easy for your prey to notice you, and Alaster learned from one of the best how to be right f-ing sneaky.  He can move almost silently, and knows how much cover he needs to conceal himself from sight.  To help with this, he tends to prefer lighter armor done in subdued colors when "on the job" as he would say, and has had his boots specially modified with padded soles to further reduce any sound from his footsteps.

Tracking:  Aside from using Zetsu to track prey by its inherent aura, Alaster was also trained in more traditional manners of finding beasts wherever they hide.  He is able to identify creatures from their tracks, feces, and the impact they have on vegetation; and from there he can identify a trail and follow it for miles at a time.  This is somewhat less useful in urban environments, where tracks and trails are less abundant.

Mercantile:  Being the heir apparent has some advantages, and one of those is learning how to run the family business.  While he has little taste for trade, the young man has developed an ability to haggle, bribe, and otherwise persuade merchants to alter the prices of their goods.

Etiquette:  Certainly Alaster's least favorite part of being born a noble is the constant need for exercising the proper manners at all times.  While he takes every opportunity to break the normal rules for courtly behavior, that does not mean he has forgotten them.  In fact, he is very well versed in how to behave in any sort of high societal occasion.  From balls and dinners, to theatrical productions and formal celebrations of any kind.  If you need to know things from how to properly dress to which spoon to use when eating crème brûlée, Alaster is your man.
Name: Rexxus

Age: 1

Gender: Male

Race: Dire Wolf
Dire wolves are one of the more dangerous predators indigenous to Lemuria for a number of reasons.  Firstly they are remarkably intelligent, able to solve problems as well as learn and adapt to their environment.  Secondly, they show some ability to wield Nen in ways that allow them to hunt down prey more efficiently than other hunters.  Finally, and perhaps most notably, is their size.  A full-grown Dire Wolf will, on average, stand 6 feet (1.8 meters)  tall and weigh upwards of 350 pounds (159 Kilograms).  Pups are, on average, 1 foot (.3m) tall when born, and undergo several growth spurts which ultimately see them full grown by the time they are two years old.  Despite this rapid growth and associated sexual maturation, Dire Wolves are actually very long lived with an average life expectancy of around 30 years in the wild.  This is believed to be due to the violent lives the predators often lead, in which injuries are common and due to the lack of available medical care these often lead to death.  In situations where medical care is available, Dire Wolves can live as long as humans in most cases.  Their long lifespan, coupled with the unique abilities these immense canines bring to the table, make them popular companions for those in especially dangerous professions that can claim one.

ce97c02b41f010cb52ca497981228205_d72f13h

Minus the chains, metal rods, and glowing eyes.  His eyes are the same feral yellow as any wolf's eyes would be.

Height: 3'5" (1.12m)

Length: 6'4" (1.93m)

Weight: 180lbs (81.6kg)

Nen Ability:  Much like Alaster, Rexxus is capable of using Nen of his own accord to some degree.  The primary way in which this is shown is the telepathic link he and Alaster share, which was explained in the app above.

Heightened Senses:  Dire wolves have keener hearing and senses of smell than humans, and are able to detect far fainter scents and sounds than humans can.  As such, they can track their prey across vast distances without the slightest visible sign of their passing.  This does leave them vulnerable as well, as particularly powerful odors or sounds at certain frequencies can cause them a great deal of pain.

Physical Abilities:  Dire wolves are incredibly strong, as befits any predator of their size, and often put that strength to use when hunting the massive animals which they prey upon.  However, they are also remarkably quick and agile, able to outrun deer for significant stretches and capable of darting between trees with little reduction in speed.  Furthermore, the species possesses exceptional stamina, allowing them to run down prey across great distances to get at them when they are most tired.  Given the fact that he is quite young, Rexxus has not yet grown to possess the incredible strength of his species, and exhibits the usual clumsiness of a pup.

Stealth:  As is the case of many predators in the wild, Dire Wolves are adept at sneaking up on their prey and surprising them.  This of course necessitates that they slow down and patiently stalk up on their prey, rather than sprinting out after them, to get into a position where the entire pack can ambush their prey.  Usually this is done by the older, more experienced members of a pack who lie in wait for the younger, more rash members to distract their prey or drive them to them.  Given that he is young, Rexxus hasn't quite figured out how useful sneaking is, and requires constant reminders to stay hidden.

Personal Information

x393wz.jpgName: Celia Coela vi Ciirra Cannes
Gender: Female
Age: 17 years old physically and mentally. Chronological age is actually 105 years old.
Race: Human

738e695c7f293d653949598c7c5c752e34329cc3
155 centimeters, 41 kilograms.

Somewhat bratty, self-centered, messy, irresponsible, and hedonic, but she usually means well. She is definitely not the type to easily give up on things she pursue and will not stop for anything after she set her goal, though most of the time she’ll just focus on finding fun or interesting things. She's a cheerful, optimistic person that usually thinks the best in regards to other people, though this actually borders on naivety at times. It seriously can be counted as delusional at times, really. Definitely pretty much a tomboy, except when she's dealing with men, then she's willing and able to act really feminine to get what she wants.

She’s definitely a book-dumb type of person, and is quite the simple thinker that often rushes recklessly into something without well…thinking much. She sucks at math, counting, can’t stand books much, and at times, has some….interesting view on how the world works. Still, her applied knowledge is pretty good due to her time on her journey.

Despite her saying that she wants to get the sword so she can return home as the rightful successor of the throne, it's all just a ruse in the end, all hot air. She wants nothing to do with the throne, and she hates the fact that due to her sister's disappearance, she's the one that has to inherit the throne. She hates the responsibility that comes with it, and generally, she feels that she's completely incapable and not up for the position. Her inferiority complex towards her sister shows up at this point, as she always views her as being the superior sibling than her, at times bordering on worship. She thinks that no matter what she do, she'll still be inferior to her sister. Yet due to her disappearance, she slowly started to loathe her so much, which only adds fuel to the fire that is her desire to find her again.

When people asked about why she decided to be a Hunter, she shrugged, and answered that she just wants to find her family's lost heirloom so she can return home with dignity. Though, it's pretty much just an excuse for her, as her main motivation is just to explore the world and its people, and being a Hunter will allow her to explore the world further. There's also her motivation to find her sister, since she was a Hunter, as Celia believed. Though, it never crosses her mind that her sister might not even be a Hunter and ended up somewhere else.

Or dead, especially because it's been 88 years since Celia left her place.

She was the next in line to be the emperor, succeeding her father who was already quite old. But everyone was quite skeptical about her capability to be a good successor to him, as she wasn’t really acting much like a proper heir to the throne. Celia caretaker and close friend suggested that the king should send her into the outside world with her supervision, as a way to prove her worth as the next ruler. Despite initially being unsure, the king finally agreed with the proposal, and thus, the journey of the young girl to reclaim her family’s lost heirloom began. Along the way, she met a lot of different people, exotic creatures, and beautiful places, and even new companions, yet, she parted ways with them one by one, and even she lost contact with her caretaker one day. Still, motivated by the fact that she still had to reach her goal, Celia kept on moving.

Well, that is if she still cares about her supposed "goal". Finding the world to be more worth it than the responsibility that waited for her back home, she stopped caring about her goal, and decided to just explore the world for the sake of exploring it. The words "find the sword and return home as a true heir to the throne" slowly lost all of its meaning to her, and ended up being simply a meaningless sentence that she repeats on impulse whenever someone asked about her motivation. Absorbed deep into her desire to enjoy the world and the entirety of it, her Ten grows thicker and thicker, and her aging completely stopped, and her perception of time became completely distorted to the point of her not realizing that it has been 88 years since she left her family behind. Unknowingly to her, during that time her kingdom went into a war against the Republic of Shenglong, and was completely crushed and absorbed to it. Her family were long gone, and the word "home" that she emptily echoes all the time became truly empty without her realizing it. Yet, she barely even bothered to think about those things anymore.

Not too long ago, when she was working in a local Pal-mart to cover for her next round of travel, she came across the announcement that the year's Hunter Exam was going to be held soon. This sparked her memory about her reason she left her home, her family, and more importantly, her sister that left her behind to be a Hunter.

It didn't take her long to leave her job and prepare herself for the Hunter Exam.

-Agility: While really lacking in physical defense, Celia has trained herself during the journey to the point of her having superhuman level of agility and reflexes. Dodging, blitzing straight to her opponent, it's all imprinted inside her.

-Hand-to-hand combat and bladed weapon mastery: Attributed by her as the fruit of her travel so far, much to other's raised eyebrows. Then again, when one has 88 years to hone the skill, they'll master it easily.

-Enhanced Strength: She's capable of shattering giant boulders with one punch, among others. Again, attributed to her journey, since in this universe, 88 years would easily be enough to hone her strength that much, even for someone with a body frame as small as hers.

-Rapid Recovery: A side effect from her Ten, she can recover from heavy fatigue just by a short sleep, and wounds would heal faster, though not fast enough for her to be reckless, as small wounds would still requires a full day to fully recover, and deeper wounds could take a week.

-Ten: Celia was born in a permanent state of Ten with her aura nodes completely open, and due to her being one of the reincarnated 108 stars, she was akin to being covered by a really thick cloud of aura that can easily intimidate others. Due to it though, she’s pretty much basically having a gigantic spotlight constantly focusing at her in the eyes of other Nen users. Still, as far as raw power goes, Celia's completely unmatched for now. This cloud of Ten is also the reason why she has stopped aging. Of course, it still has its feature to knock off Nen-based attacks from her, which helps since she's not exactly the most physically durable person in the world.

-Ren and Zetsu: Aside from that, she had also trained herself with the basics of Ren and Zetsu, and while she's able to master Ren, she struggled heavily in Zetsu, and barely able to use it's most basic parts. This inability to master Zetsu can also be attributed to her overwhelming cloud of Ten, that resisted all of her and other's attempt to close or suppress it off.

-Celia is classified into Enhancer, aura type-wise. Yet, her Hatsu is pretty much anything but that. Unlike most enhancers, the only thing she cares about is offense, sacrificing the versatility of the aura type to simply deal as much damage as fast as possible.

-Ko: The only advanced Nen technique Celia is capable of using, but even then, she couldn’t utilize it fully due to her lack of understanding of Zetsu for the most part. Focusing some of the overflowing aura from her Ten into her right palm, she can unleash a horrifyingly powerful strike at her target, able to liquefy it from the inside if the target is not outright annihilated. This technique, dubbed “Shining Finger” by her, can leave her hand paralyzed for up to 15 minutes after a direct hit, and it does have weak spots that will make her vulnerable when using it, though she’s significantly less vulnerable to Nen-powered attacks than others when using Ko skills due to the fact that she couldn’t focus 100% of her aura for this. She can also focus her aura and transform it into a blade on her right hand instead. This is dubbed as “Shining Finger Sword” by her. Since her transmutation effectiveness are not that good, being a Enhancer, this attack would be far less efficient than her standard Ko attack, but this gives her more range and versatility.

-Gyo: Implied by her ability to use Ko, but her sheer single-mindedness in using Ko pretty much makes her ability to use Gyo versatile-ly questionable at best.

-(Future)Hatsu: "Eternally Distant Golden Dragon Sword"

Destructive Capability: A
Development Potential: A
Range: A
Classification: Anti-personnel Hatsu

Her Hatsu, encompassing the concepts of Conjuration, Emission, and Transmutation as its base. Embodying her single-mindedness to reach the only goal left for her, to claim her family’s sword, her entire Nen ability is focused on the concept of the sword. Due to her not using a Nen-ability that corresponds to her aura type, this technique are noticeably weaker than it should be, though her immense, barely-restricted aura amplifies it’s power to a completely threatening level, and allows the attacks done by this skill to have immense power and range.

This Nen ability itself consists of her materializing a crude copy of the sword on one of her hands, either fully utilizing her Nen or transmuting an inanimate object she hold in her hands using it. Despite looking crude, this sword is extraordinarily sharp and powerful, but can easily break. She can also half-materialize the sword, and utilize it as a cost-effective projectile that dissipates after hitting its target, a-la an Emitter. She can only summon 1 sword at a time using this skill though, but she can immediately summon another one after she breaks a sword. She can use her enhancement ability on the sword to empower it even further, but most of the time the sword will break after it hits its target. Breaking an empowered sword this way seals off her entire Hatsu ability for one hour.

As yet another way for her to amplify the already powerful ability, Celia put yet another three restrictions to it. First would be that the ability would be activated by her voice's command. Meaning, if she did not say anything to announce any attack she initiates, the attack would fizzle completely. The second one would be, if she repeated the name of an attack to announce any of her attacks, the attack would become weaker to the point that it wouldn't be much different from a normal attack from a normal weapon. Lastly, any of her attacks that was not announced by declaring "Finishing Move!" or its variations before the attack name would be unable to kill the opponent. The laws of the universe would bend to make sure the opponent would not be in mortal danger by the attack, even to the point of absurdity.

-Abnormal Survivor: Her skill to -not- eat at all for an extended amount of time or eat anything that's remotely edible for the sake of survival is top notch, among other survival skills.
-She has an extensive experience with men in general, and often uses them to fund her journey, one way or another.
-Improvisation: Whether it's in a battle or anywhere else, she's able to easily improvise whatever fits the situation best. And even if her skillset are completely simple, she's really hard to read.

Voice Actor:   Junko Takeuchi
Theme Song:    Rammer - Wild Flowers
Foreground Eclipse - The Distant Journey to You
Favorite Food: Seafood, Dried Pineapple Sticks
Trivia:        -Is actually a nice cook when she can be bothered to.
-She often dates older men, though usually for money to continue her journey.
-Really loves to use her smartphone to access Twatter to update her status or just post  an interesting photo from her journey. That being said, she's also a quite skilled photographer.
-She worked at convenience stores several times during the times when she really needs money.

Well, my laptop is finally working again, as of thursday, which means I am finally capable of doing RP. Additionally, I have been doing a whole lot of nothing recently, so it would be nice to get into something to stop me from leaving the site.

I am currently on a small vacation, but I will be back around monday or tuesday, and will make sure to make my character once my blog post and commissioned alter are done. I already have a character skeleton in mind, and will probably have it all figured out by the time I can actually sit down and do it.

Tl;dr I am in, and won't do what I did with Hotel Atlantica.

[spoiler: Lettess B. Sprout]

Username: The Culinary Star
Name: Lettess B. Sprout
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Human
[spoiler: Appearance:]

515952.jpg

Height: 5'4

Weight: 140 lbs (63 k.g)
[spoiler: Personality:] Ever the friendly fellow Lettess' is one of those people who loves to watch others be happy. Literally the happiness of others genuinely makes him happy. Along that line of thought he is more happy when he is around large groups of people. Lettess believes that everyone is in charge of their own happiness. Negative emotions such as anger and sadness stem from outward events that one allows themselves to be affected by. Of course there are some understandable events such as a death in which it is perfectly okay to feel sad, but mostly he feels one cannot let negative energy into ones space. Because of this thought Lettess comes sometimes comes across obnoxious or a false sense of immortality. However he usually has the best of intentions. Lettess is perfectly straightforward as does not possess the age and the wisdom to know self restraint or better explained...when to keep his mouth shut. Nevertheless, he makes up for it buy being deliciously selfless as he always willing to help and serve others. Most commonly though this is with food.
[spoiler: Motivation:] The Sprout family is actually a long line of Gourmet Chefs, but Lettess is fixated with seeing the world and meeting all kinds of people. Trying to live life at its fullest, Lettess' goal is to become a full fledged Bishokuya (Gourmet Hunter) travelling the world seraching for new kinds of ingredients and spices all while meeting new people. This way he can have a full marriage of his upholding his families tradition and his love of travel.
[spoiler: Biography]

Biography: Lettess was born into the long line of chefs where his life was pretty normal. His family was always being hired to go around and cook for famous people and cater to high end events. Therefore, his upbringing allowed him to experience a lot of travel and happiness. When he was the age of 5 he was sent to a secret training camp where he would learn the "culinary arts" through intense meditation and drilling. Interestingly enough his family has one of those people that didn't know they knew Nen. Nen sometimes seeps out and is evident when people work extremely hard at a craft or their occupation. This is why a lot of the Sprout family's clients tend to be pro-hunters. They are able to see the Nen in the Sprout's family's food.

Nevertheless while in his deep meditative arts and he felt like he wanted to entertain the concept that he could travel more and see more than he currently was. Seeing such a prideful youth, his sensei (a pro-Hunter) decided to inform him about the life of the Hunter. Granted his sensei warned him of the immense dangers of being a hunter, but Lettess definitely thought that the pros were definitely better than the potential cons. So this sensei of his taught him the basics of Nen before the Hunter exam. The intent was to give the kid some kind of advantage since he was clearly younger than the normal people who were going to take the Hunter Exam.

For some reason his Nen usage was very powerful for a complete newb to the art, but he needed that handicap because the Hunter Exam was way harder than he ever imagined. He was actually lucky enough to pass the exam. Nevertheless, he passed and now he can live the glorious life of a hunter...traveling the world finding great ingredients for his family's business.
[spoiler: Abilities:]

Nen: As it stands Lettess is capable of using all of the base forms of Nen. However his training has allowed him to be very skilled in Ten and Ren. However thanks to his jolly, extroverted personality he has a very difficult time using Zetsu. Him using Zetsu is akin to trying to stay completely quite while you're experiencing side splitting laughter. Yes it is possible, but extremely difficult.

Hand to Hand Combat: Lettess has trained in a special culinary art dedicated to the efficient use of movement to end the lives of animals that are being hunted. Due to his training he is a borderline master with the shortsword and knives. His strikes are always to fatal organs in order to end the battle quickly. His family is even capable of using the deadly "Rhythm Echo" technique. While he definitely isn't a prodigy at fighting people one would be really surprised how well he could hold his own.

Cooking: Well logically Lettess is an amazing cook. To the masses anyway. To word class chefs he shows promise, but clearly not worthy of the title of chef. While it may sound harsh he literally comes from a family of world class chefs so he is most critical when it comes to food. He can see the potential to make five star meals out of any random pantry. Everything in food is something and opportunity, you just have to see it for what it is.

Food Science: Due to his exstensive training as a chef Lettess has exstensive knowledge about food...and things that can be perceived as food. This is not limited to human anatomy, plant anatomy and most knowledge about organisms and living things. However that doens't really help in terms of technology, electronics and so on. He hasn't reached that far in his training.
Miscellaneous:

 • Lettess is quite clearly a play on the food Lettuce.
 • Lettess has 7 brothers and sisters and the parents of the Sprout children decided it would be fun to name them all after ingredients that you would find in a Cheese burger.
 • Most of the Sprout family are already proficient in the use of Nen and are fully aware of their aura types.
 • The legendary training that Lettess if proficient in is known as Food Honor that is literally from the Torikoverse

So few questions since apparently we're supposed to ask and talk about things here.

1.) Would/how would illusions work?

2.) How does multiple abilities work? (As in, illusions, plus something else more offensive.) Should I just stick to one or the other?

3.) Explain the nodes being "forcefully opened by someone" thing? What does that entail/how does it affect someone?

1) Illusions would be a Conjurer ability that simply conjures illusions, a Manipulator ability controlling light, a Transmuter ability that gives your aura light-bending properties (which happens to actually be what I'm doing)

2) Multiple abilities decrease your proficiency in each ability. It's always a versatility vs. power trade. However, even if you don't have offensive Nen abilities, you can still be powerful through the use of the basic Nen techniques.

3) Forcefully opened is someone forcefully flowing their Nen into you through your aura nodes, which forces them open. It is a delicate procedure and if any ill intent or lack of focus is in the Nen, it could damage your body as it basically is a Nen attack against a defenseless target.

1) Ah, okay then I see, well interesting, so it's more than one way of doing it.

2) That makes sense, so in most cases you really just want to focus on one.

3) Ah I see, so if done correctly it makes it possible for you to use Nen techniques then?

Personality: (5 lines of text minimum)

Motivation: He really isn't into being a Hunter, but becoming one is a family tradition, and breaking a family heritage tradition is out of the question. So, more or less, he isn't doing this out of the respect for his family's wishes. but for pride and dignity.

Biography: The Malven family has been a family of Hunters for generations ever since the creation of the Hunter Association; this family is renowned for its contribution for the organization. Every child born into the Malven family takes the Hunter Exams when they reach the age of 18, and the next child in line was Clune. Clune was the last child born in his family of 7, and just like his brothers and sisters, he was destined to take the exam. When his 18th birthday came, he went off to take the exam, but he felt his heart was not ready for what was laid ahead. After a week or 2, he came home tired, weary, and no Hunter License. He received harassment from not only his siblings, but from his father as well. Feeling even more in the dumps, he didn't have that desire to take the exams next year, or even take them at all, thinking that all Hunters are disrespectful and he never wants to be one. After 3 months, avoiding everyone as much as possible, his mother thought it was best to help him get started on training for the Hunter Exams. With much resistance from Clune, he finally agreed to take the exams again, but not so much for his family's wishes, but redeem his pride as a member of the Malven Family.

He skilled with an all-round hand-to-hand combat and speed, but only having average endurance. He makes up that weakness in his intelligence, being the smartest one in his family.

I hope this is good for a beginning.

Actually, sanctioned Nen-powered soccer sounds absolutely wonderful as an idea. Just imagine it in action.

Probably only among Hunters, since Nen is a secret and dangerous ability. Oh, I should add the fact that it is actually unknown to most of the world to the Database.
