J-Max
"If there is 1 or more monster(s) on the field of the controller of this card, his/her opponent cannot place a monster on the field if his/her number of monsters would exceed the number of monsters that are on the field of this card's controller. The cards that are already on the field before this card's activation are unaffected by this effect." Ran into this twice yesterday and both times it completely messed up my ability to Special Summon. If your opponent can get 1 good monster out then its pretty much Game Over... J-Max
But I was trying to reduce the number of MST's in my Deck lol. It was 1 at the time... Still a really annoying card. Also weirdly enough both times I ran into this, they were running Noble Knights. Coincidence?
The Warden
Not really, the deck has taken to running it now, since I believe they like sitting on Rank 5 Arty, several equips and this.
·Toot
MsT or something wouldn't hurt really. This doesn't get around as much as it did a few months back. On another note... Protecting it with Key Beetle while Safe Zone is face-up is my favorite way to use this. j/s
ihop
It's decent and all but the issue is that there aren't enough cool things to summon with this out like Yamato, which was the one time it was commonly played, and it's just too easy to get round their one monster or destroy Kaiser with Trish, MST, any Saqlifice-summoned Qliphort, Twister, Galaxy Cyclone????. It's probably good in Noble Knights, I don't really know much about them but having a big Xyz guy out with this seems ok, but still it's not that big an ask to remove anything that makes Kaiser threatening. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Assuming you have madolche, you need 3 mst. That is how badly vanity (and less common stuff like this) hurts you.
Toffee.
I rather dislike this card. Mostly, because everyone plays it in 1s and "magically" always opens with it- heaven forbid I have an MST on-hand. 'Course, the people who DO drop this card, they also proceed to set every other Limited/cookie cutter/1-off card they have :/
Zauls
Meh. Its only good in mediocre decks and even then its not that great. As everyone has said, there are a million ways of getting round it and it reduces a deck's consistency and it gains you little advantage.
evilfusion
It's a silly card. I like it, but I don't like facing it. Don't really use it, either, except in stallish Decks that run a bunch of cards that prevent my monsters from dying. I do remember being annoyed when my Heraldic Deck faced it, but my opponent misplayed by Summoning another monster, so Advanced Heraldry Art got me going again. vla1ne
I tried running it in an early U.A. build just for the hell of it. the entire time it was in the deck I never drew into it. Not even once. as a first turn play, it can hurt your opponent pretty badly bar MST though.
