2 Level 8 monsters
This card's effects cannot be negated. If this card is Special Summoned: Negate the effects of all other face-up cards currently on the field, until the end of this turn. During either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all Spell/Trap Cards on the field. If you do: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; return all Spell/Trap Cards that were destroyed on your side of the field by this effect to the same position they were in before they were destroyed. If Set, those Set cards can be activated during this turn.

So yeah, generic Rank 8 on a 3500 ATK body that cannot be negated and essentially Feather Dusters your opponent (since you'll recover your stuff with its second one).
This is getting nerfed if ever released.

Discuss.

It's a generic Rank 8, which makes it useful outside of D/D, which it'll have to be if it wants any chance of seeing play as things stand.  D/Ds currently don't handle their Level 8s very well outside of Ragnarok.

yeah, just no.

Just to note, this is what the power level of Rank 8s should have been.  The last part will probably be gutted, and/or its Summoning Condition changed.

And I was just editing the main post with my comments when you guys came in.

This is so getting nerfed if ever released; probably requiring D/D's to work.

If they did, you'd need to use Abyss Ragnarok or Hell Armageddon to make it; since I don't recall any of the other D/D monsters to be Level 8.

---

If its DEF is ever confirmed later, I'll add it up BUT I don't foresee it.

I'll reiterate my opinion; when Xyz first came out, THIS is the sort of thing you ought to be giving up 2 Level 8s for, but for the longest time before Felgrand became a thing, Rank 8s were fairly mediocre, and the frequency of Level changing effects and increasing spam made sure they'd stay mediocre, as making them too powerful, as we see here, may be a bad idea.

So you can say this is too OP as it is, but I say there's something wrong when a high-Rank Xyz like this is considered too OP to have a more "appropriate" power level.

Reiji, just give us a new synchro monster already!!!

Anyway this card is too OP!!

He'll probably get a new Synchro later.

Then again, someone decided to do that for Reiji in Advanced the other day.

But yeah, I'm skeptical about a generic R8 that can blow up opponent's backrow and more less reset your own; all on a 3.5K that will always go off.

And then it's Skill Drain for a turn.

If it was just D/D specific it would be better, we already know what happens when Konami makes generic OP Xyz (i'm looking at you Dracosack!)

That was mostly Dragon Rulers though; if we get Level 8 spam on that level, then Felgrand will be the one to fuss about with the current Rank 8s we have.

Again, you'd have to use Ragnarok or Armageddon to make this; but no one really uses the latter (as far as Black is concerned regarding its usage), so...

Unless of course, D/Ds get new Level 8 toys to play with.

I would say D/D's could just Astral Force into this, but no good Rank 6 Fiends come to mind; at least not stuff D/D's would run.

EDIT: There are no R6 Fiends, so...

Which is why I said, as things stand, this thing would have to be usable outside D/D to be usable at all; that is unless you're willing to build your deck around him, in which case, this effect we see here is warranted.

If Konami decides to leave it as is, then generic Rank 8 Decks have a new toy to play with; although they'll probably nerf it because of things.

To be honest, I wouldn't even bother with Hell Armageddon in D/D's; not worth it. Some testing proved that it's dead-weight.

But yeah, if they actually make this D/D-specific, it can remain; considering how few L8s they have right now.

Knowing Konami, they'll probably change it to Fiend-Type monsters or something; like Caesar/Tell.

Just as a sidenote, there is one more ED monster Reiji used this episode; although no picture exists of it yet.

----

Won't say further things on Deck stuff for D/D's, since I haven't been playing it long enough.

Yeah, Hell Armageddon isn't even worth it.

In all seriousness though, this is another example of power creep. I wouldn't be surprised if Konami nerfed it for release (maybe make it require 2 level 8 DARKs perhaps, seeing as the monsters used to summon it were DARK, and I haven't even seen the episode yet).

It'd be lucky if it was DARKs; Gimmick Puppets and Dark World could still use it then.

Puppets are definite; considering they can already make their existing Xyz bosses.

Dark Worlds have Grapha and things.

But yeah, those are the only Decks that can use them with that restriction; as far as I remember.

--

If they decide to make it Fiends, then Puppets are out.

Or Konami can make more Level 8s that are good in D/D's and we can add its own Deck back, but we'll have to see.

That is, assuming this ever gets printed.

This is one of those ZeXal-era cards whose name basically dictates its effect - he's basically the apocalypse and rebirth of the world, so he blows p and returns everything. Which is good flavour, but not good design.

First thing I thought of.

OT: Yeah, this is probably going to require DD/DDD monsters if released, knowing Konami.

Or Fiend-Types, like Caesar.

2 now, since we've got 3 Fusions and 3 Xyz.

Hopefully when the Synchro Dimension arc revs up, Reiji gives us more Synchros, because I'm not satisfied with just Alexander.

We probably will see some more in the coming days.

I know one member made Napoleon into a D/D/D Synchro in Advanced the other day, but it's only a fan idea until Konami prints it.

Most likely, they'll fill up the Attributes that are still vacant; or repeat existing stuff.

Probably. He's given us mostly Fusions (Fusion is antagonist) and Xyz (victim of antagonist) and Pendulums (standard dimension). Synchros will almost certainly come next.
