[ANIME] D/D/D Caesar Ragnarok the Wave Complete Oblivion Overlord

Recommended Posts

I can't handle all these Ds.

Reminds me of my classmates in high school.

That said, I'm not surprised a Fusion of DDDs is still a DDD. Mad Chimera and Sabre Tiger are just Frightfurs, not "Edge Frightfurs" or something equally weird.

This is, however, the first DDD whose title isn't 3 Kanji long, but 5.

To be fair, it's name is already long enough as it is.

You have a good amount of monsters that can used to make it, but a lot of those choices aren't even worth running.

This is basically like Mad Chimaera for Sora; essentially requires ED monsters to make.

Plus, still weak to removal and other crap.

If it had a better effect than just boosting ATK (and getting rid of another monster), then maybe it'll be worth it.

Probably had another effect, but I doubt it. (There's an image of the card on Wikia, but it's too small to read)

---

Let's see what Konami does to it, should this get released.

If nothing changes from here, most likely will be a recommended 0 in Black's guide to the Deck.

I swear it's like they use a manatee to determine the card names for this archetype.

...What does that even mean?

Might as well be this card.

Not really. This guy at least has a Spell card that can make him for Graveyard material, and a 3200-ATK body for actual offensive plays.

I was saying it has decoy dragon syndrome, ergo it will never get attacked because it has no surprise element outside of animu where card effects are not public knowledge until explained.

South Park reference.

There was an episode where they lambasted Family Guy by showing that their infamous cutaway gags were more or less randomly chosen by manatees.

The names for this archetype seem so random and excessive that it makes me think they're doing something similar.

First off, they aren't near as excessive in Japanese, for the most part.

Shiio (pun on CEO) Hell Armageddon (this is dark and edgy, yes)

Kaichio (Pun on Chairman) Abyss Ragnarok (dark and edgy, yes)

Dotōō Caesar

The names, bar Hell Arma/Abyss Ragnarok, are not very large. This card suffers from being a fusion of Caesar and Abyss Ragnarok, so it has their names combined. In Japanese:

DīDīDī Dotō Kaichiō Kaesaru Ragunaroku

So it's like Wave Chairman Overlord Abyss Ragnarok. Still over the top, but no moreso than usual.
