Problem is that Exodia itself is a really nostalgic and iconic part of the game which will mean it won't get banned anytime soon.

also the moment the head gets banned the limbs all shoot to 3.

Here is the thing. The deck either goes off or it doesn't. If you don't manage to do your thing, you won't. Abductor helps A TON. I have pulled about a dozen FTKs in around an hour of testing, with a VERY suboptimal build. Giving your opponent a turn really just gives them a chance to Castel whatever you are storing the majority of your counters, in which case you have really already lost. Plus, a pendulum zone that hold the empowered guy is just a pendulum zone that isn't holding an abductor to accumulate counters.

Abductor accumulates counters, then searches for another abductor which accumulates more.

so I imagine Royal Magical keeps the engine going, Abductor accumulates counters, now all you need is a lv 2 tuner for Tempest Magician, Drop your entire hand because why not, and one shot your opponent. 

 

Also, interesting thing, the whole aspect of one shotting your opponent gets around Chicken Race's damage clause which you can theoretically run in order to keep the engine going.

Level 2 tuners include: Frequency Magician (playable off exemplar), Night's End Sorceror (also playable off Exemplar), and Krebons (playable of E-Tele). I prefer 3 Night's End, 1 Krebons, and 2 E-tele.

 

But yeah. You now pretty much get the gist of Tempest FTK.

If you have to include a card that helps you survive past the first turn in a first turn kill deck, you really need to reconsider how viable the first turn kill deck really is.

 

I don't think Tempest is good enough to be considered as a viable strategy, even with this and Chicken Race. It completely relies on you drawing library and your opponent not having effect veiler.

 

If you want to play a degenerate chicken race ftk deck, play Gishkill.

Pendulum Summoning has nothing to do with the Counter generation.

You don't use this for the Pendulum Scale. You search your other two copies and they both search Exodia pieces each turn.

Each turn? There are no opt clauses on this thing whatsoever. As long as you have counters, you can search. Tbh I won't be surprised if Exodia got banned in order to allow konami to actually make non degenerate draw power cards. The only reason mass draw is degenerate is this fucking alt win-con.
