Toffee.
Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos" by sending 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other monster on the field; equip this monster on the field to that target. At the start of the Damage Step, if the monster equipped with this card by this effect battles an opponent's monster: You can roll a six-sided die, note the result, and banish the opponent's monster until the Standby Phase of that many turns later.Oh my gosh, this is such of a fun card <3Well, more or less because Mages are a thing, but still...Pairing This with any of your monsters instantly turns that monster into a threat; It's always going to Banish monsters for [x] turns, and the opponent cannot do anything about it. Unless they have obvious backrow, but that's beside the point.I mean, you honestly wont care what the result is, unless it's like 1, since your still Banishing a monster the opponent controls for [x] turns, as a means of making it easier for you to go and attack directly with others. Bonus points for the fact that it skips the Damage Step, which means Set monsters wind up getting the shorter end of the stick/etc because they are even more helpless then Face-Up monsters.I don't know, I just really get a kick out of This card. It's fun. It's effective. It's really easy to Summon. Etc....Now if only you could revive This later, for added shenanigans.Discuss.
Azuh
Does this effect cause a replay when the monster is banished? I'm assuming not and it works like Catastor
evilfusion
Does this effect cause a replay when the monster is banished? I'm assuming not and it works like Catastor No, it takes place during the Damage Step, the same timing as things like Catastor. Replays don't occur during Damage Step. Miror B
Let's be fair, banishing a large thread or even an Xyz for 1 turn is good enough in itself, anything more than that is just icing on the donut.
Forest Fire
would an xyz monster banished by this get it's xyz materials back? also, if after the battle phase you activated vanity's, your opponent probably won't get their monster back. Armoire
I am wondering if anyone who is fluent with Shaddolls has tried using this as a tech; it seems pretty solid.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Hermos in dolls could be neat. The extra is soooo damn tight though (at least in Japan it is) I'd assume with 3 construct 3 wins you guys have similar problems!?!
Sleepy
If Legendary Dragons get some sort of searcher then this cards like this one would be able to be more than just a tech. Nowadays there are ways to make the Fusion Summon an easy +0 if the materials are things like Shadolls, Entermages, Pendulums... It'd still have plenty of potential for the future if it didn't have solid targets for materials. Btw, random info: As far as I know, this is the first Level 2 Fusion in the game. The Warden
All the Hermos Fusions have the silhouette of what originally made them in the background of their art. They also happen to possess the same stats as their progenitor as well.
