I wasn't trying to make it sound like my opinion was the only way it should be enjoyed, and if it came across that way, I apologize. But I have seen nasty fist fights break out over this game (including between fully-grown military men, which is scary as f*ck), and have been caught in the crossfires of these fights once or twice by accident.

Then again, that is the danger of playing this near Ft. Hood...

Apologies, I've misinterpreted what you were trying to say. Yes, you're right, people like that do take the game too seriously and don't bring anything to the game, at the end of the day it is a game and a competition and should never result in violence or bullying or anything like that. I've made you a scapegoat for my general annoyance at people who say people who play the game to win are "try-hards" and take the game too seriously, sorry about that.

In real life Duels, I hold back almost to the point of toying with them. Admittedly, this is because most of my RL opponents have significantly weaker Decks, to the point where me going all out would crush them unsatisfactorily. As an example, my Rank-Up Heraldics will often hold onto a Rank-Up Magic for no reason other than I don't NEED to use it to keep and maintain a pressure advantage, but using it would probably win me the game right there.

It's like a balance of keeping pressure on the opponent but not discouraging them from playing me again.

On simulators, I'm too kind with misplays. That's because I sometimes feel that if I 'prevent' my opponent from making a comeback because of a tiny slip they did, the result isn't as good. I'm  very fond of games with a lot of back and forth. But I do get annoyed when people want to take back a move or activate an effect they forgot when they have an advantage already. I like to be sportsmanlike, and not have conflict or arguments, but it can be exasperating in the latter situations.

I have a bad complexity addiction.

I know I could do more simple plays and reap good benefits from it, but I always like doing the most complex plays because it's fun.  It usually ends up biting me in the rear from time to time.

I splash moon mirror shield or summoner of illusions in every deck

I'm a people pleaser though, which sucks, I get really nervous and am prone to Mistakes easily since I don't want my opponent to be aggravated with me slow playing or anything. Which is the main reason I never play Spirit Beasts, I love the deck, but I get really anxious going through the combos, and I know it annoys the hell out of a lot of people. And the salt, like what the hell. Last regionals I happened to bring out Nat Beast against some Nekroz guys; the air was so salty it was so uncomfortable. I feel like some people would feel satisfaction, but I was just "dude I'm sorry", like I almost didn't want to win

I find myself not conceding games when I have no outs or "globetrotting" my opponents when it is not the last game of the match.  I know that I should be trying to conceal information and in a hopeless situation or an obvious win, that should be prioritized.

In real life, I always get emotions get the best of me, likely due to some arrogance or assuring too much of victory without critical thinking. This especially happens during the point where the 3-Turn LP advantage rule is applied when the game goes for too long. I've had bad stories aligning with that.

At one point, I was using Shaddoll-Seraphs against Yosenju, and he had been using Harpie's Pet Phantasmal Dragon and Yosenju Kama 2 to wittle my LP despite me having the far better advantage, but I threw away my victory because I forgotten I could save myself and win with higher LP if I used the Effect Veiler in hand to negate kama 2, so I lost. Another time, I used the same deck, but I was facing Ritual Beasts when he had Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror and D-Prison on his side. Again, I had some good defensive advantage, but I wasted my LP using Soul Charge, and used my Seraphs for Ouroboros INSTEAD of Delteros. He then proceeded to use Bond of the Ritual Beasts to get Ulti-Gaiapelio in addition to Apelio +500 ATK boost, and he took the game because I was thoughtless about that chance and my mistake.

It's easy to toy with your opponent if they can't muster too much of an offense to your field, but you shouldn't let those emotions get the best of you. If you want to be serious, you have to critically think about what cards your opponent can use and what resources you can use to counteract. You can't easily get pressure or arrogance get the best of you, because they will be forced to think of greater win conditions and loopholes, so always play mindfully.

I find my creativity and desire to be different to be a flaw when I play online. I keep using cards I find interesting, build decks around them, and 9 times out of 10 they flop because of what's the norm nowadays.

I'm pretty sure others feel the same way.

This. All the this.

I ragequit WAY too easily, especially if I'm going against an archetype/deck that really rustles my jimmies, including, but not limited to, Fire Fist, Lightsworn, Blackwings, and Quasar.dek.

I have a LOT of things on my hitlist.
