Your strange irrational fears.

Well I should put this one.

Spiders.

Like just saw this somewhat large spider right in front of my face in the kitchen, then it kinda vanished. Now I keep glancing around all paranoid it's gonna pop up again.

I don't mind them usually but when I see a spider close up, especially when it's kinda big, makes me uncomfortable and paranoid to an extreme.

Spiders are such misunderstood creatures. As much as I come across them, squishing them is pretty much second nature now, which makes me sad cause I actually kinda love them.

As for thunder, I still hate thunder, but lightening is just plain awesome to me now. It's strange how some fears I had as a kid are now considered amazing to me as an adult.

though i can really understand how people are afraid of them considering how angular their bodies are and its been scientifically proven that us as human tend to think that more round things are cuter.

I used to be afraid of airplanes, which contributed to the nightmares I had as a kid where sheet would be launched up from the horizon that were actually as big as mountains, and then just come crashing down and leave me bracing for impact.

Sometimes when I finally fall asleep from exhaustion, some scary situation (like creepy and spoopy monsters or a floor covered in spiders) happens in my mind, like the start of a nightmare. I force myself awake before I can really delve into it, but my body is still sleep paralyzed.

So I just lie there and the thing that woke me up now creeps into my mind while I lay helpless, trying to knock myself out of it by regaining control of my own body.

THAT sheet is scary.

Ever heard of "mind explosion syndrome"? It's where sudden loud noises sound in your head in the transition into REM sleep that sound real enough to startle you awake. Apparently it's a rare psychiatric disorder, and I'm one of the few who has it.

Some of the few sounds I hear are the sound of a gunshot and the sound of a woman screaming. I assume the gunshot relates to me hearing gunshots in a forest where my grandparents had a cabin, where hunting was known to be had nearby. That sheet had be traumatized.

ive heard noises a few times when i was younger but ive never felt sleep paralyzed, when i was little i once actually had a time where i knew i was in a dream as soon as it started so i decided to sit on the ladder on my bunk bed and wait until i woke up, which i did. it only ever happened to me once.

havent had any of that stuff ever happen before in recent times, but it did occur before in my life.
