Congrats to EndUser for winning the previous one, but a new champion can be crowned this time around. Recently, a new July Banned List has recently taken effect: This is the perfect moment to test your knowledge of the newest metagame, maybe make your way down to Kansas and back with your X-Wing Slippers. Just flap the wings three times and say “I want to win”. Maybe Shaddolls will take down this one. Or some lucky brewer can come out of no where and take this down this escapades with relative ease. The way this is going to happen is a 5 Swiss Round split into a top 8. The winners of each match will be granted 3 points, and the 8 people with the highest record will compete in Elimatination matches to claim a champion, and the most recent title of YCM Championship Series’ Champion. The first round will be randomized. Rounds after this will be set up by records. There is no time limit for rounds, so there is no need for time-based draws. IDs (Intentional Draws) will be granted 1 point. The format is Advanced TCG under the most recent rendition of the July 2015 Banned List. The following non-legal TCG set and cards will be permitted: Dimension of Chaos, bar JP081-085 (This will be on DN soon enough.)Clash of Rebellions, bar JP81-90Structure Deck: Synchron ExtremeStructure Deck: Master of PendulumThe "Kozmo" archetypeSky Dragoons of DraconiaFrightfur TigerElder Entity NordenOuter Entity HastorrMinerva, the Exalted Lightsworn Sign ups will close on July 25th at 12:00 AM EST. Decklists will be sent to me through PM when signed up to make sure that cards are within the legal parameters. After this, there will be no deck changes allowed. After the top 8 are announced, I will release their decklists to the public and each player will be given perfect information as to what they are up against. This is how it is done with MtG Grand Prixs and Pro Tours, which I have been utilizing since what I have started hosting tournaments. Each round will end with a best out of 3 game match. The winner will post the record (EX. 2-1, 2-0) and the opponent will need to verify the result. Three days will be permitted to finish up the best out of three match. If anyone drops, a 2-0 record will be given to the other player. Any extension needed, please inform me of the circumstances or complications with time. I will create an assortment of prizes for the Top 4 unless popular demand calls for a points prize pool. When you send me your decklist, also provide a DN Screenshot for Event Coverage purposes. I am just doing this the same way I have done things before. It won't change much, just give me an idea. I could set everything up in breakers and calculate proper percentages, but I don't remember the algorithm and don't want to do math. Thank you. I have a lot of practice with this kind of stuff. Not really, only about 3 months worth. Then school got in the way and I couldn't keep up with my Level 1 Judge maintenance. Also Dae I applaud that you actually did research as to what cards will be legal. Who told you? =PBlack.
