With that logic, a lot of Koa'Ki Meirus are floodgates to meta decks.

Well yes, Drago is an Attribute-restricted Vanity's for LIGHT/DARK, Powerhand negates their effects when battling, Overlord/Guardian are Warning/Divine Wrath respectively.

That, and a few of them negate activations/stuff.

 

In this case, card is basically a Soul Drain + Chaos-specific version of Skill Drain itself, coupled with Snatch Steal/Number 11 if opponent pops it with an effect.

 

Considering the fact that the Graveyard is utilized A LOT nowadays, this card is a double floodgate in itself (especially the first one); capable of shutting down pretty much every relevant Deck in the game (bar a few who don't necessarily care), and that's not a good thing here.

 

Sure, stuff like BAs/Shaddolls among other things can be annoying to deal with, but this isn't the way to deal with them design-wise.

I  like this card, I think it has a very good effect that really is only so strong because of the relevance of todays META game. Not being able to activate any effects in the graveyard is a very strong effect right now, even though you cant take advantage yourself it still doesn't seem balanced somehow, it just shuts down so many decks for a searchable warrior.

 

The light and darkness effect would have been much more balanced years ago but when some of the main decks use so many LIGHT and DARK cards, it just stops some decks from being able to play really hard.

 

The last effect I think is just far too strong, snatch steal was banned after being re introduced, so I don't think anyone will be going for a 1800 ATK Snatch Steal. Maybe try something like this
