Chain Dispel

When a Spell/Trap Card is activated: Destroy all cards in the controller's Deck with the same name as the activated card.

Gets rid of all those Pendulums (Plushfire, etc.); discuss?

Thing to note: You could be like "show deck", then when they show you, you can say "thanks, I'm going to netdeck that :D"

 it sends pendulums to the grave, but that's not all that effective since they still keep the one they activated, and that's often the only one they'll need. fun thing to note though is that you can use it on your cards as well, so you could send 3 galaxy cyclone (or some other spell with a graveyard effect) to have setups for future turns. not very efficient, but a possible way to play it.

It does. See, it says "CARDS" with the same name, not Spells/Traps with the same name. So when they're activated as a spell, you eviscerate them regardless since it's not discriminating on the target.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. This card just became much more practical in my terms.

 

Now, I'm not a rocket scientist or anything, but wouldn't  isn't this a good card for destroying Chicken Game antics (apart from Pseudo Space, of course)?

It breaks a bit of the loop, but you're also helping them thin the Deck, so it ultimately evens out a bit and eventually doesn't make much of a difference.
