Post and I'll give you a weird custom card idea

Sounds interesting.

I've been working on it but didn't feel inspired so I stopped. It's called Secret Light, and consists of spellcasters which turn cards face-up or do stuff with the face-up cards like summon them, and thunder-types which get turned face up and do stuff. Like one which lets you draw 2 if its on the top of the deck and another which special summons itself when on top of the deck and one which lets you search if you shuffle and excavate it among your top 5 cards. And also a boss which has Rank-Up Magic Seventh One summoning conditions. Stuff like that.

I'm not going to complete it but I'd love it if someone else based an archetype off this concept.

Make it an OTK and I'll do it.

 

Okay... An archetype which burns itself with a field spell that transfers all damage you took from the archetype cards x2 to your opponent during the end phase.

EDIT: It has a field spell. It doesn't burn itself with the field spell.

 

Do eet

 

An anime card in which one tag duelist sacrifices themself for the other and it's all epic and sad and stuff (the card effect is epic, not sad).

Go for it.

An archetype which plays with its hand and set cards revealed pretty much at all times, and the cards gain atk/levels/effects depending on how many archetype cards you have revealed.

I'm not giving many details, am I? Should I elaborate on these more?

And do you guys think they're weird enough? I pride myself on my weirdness.

Ahhhh shoot meh WOW!

A card which lets you banish 2 Pendulum monsters from face-up in your extra deck to turn 1 monster in your extra deck face-up and give it effects that allow it to be pendulum summoned (even if its an xyz monster). Restrictions to balance the effect if necessary.

Oh hi! Umm... an archetype of continuous spell cards with beneficial effects if there's another archetypal spell to the left of them, but detrimental effects if there's another archetypal spell to the right of them.

Weird enough? :)

Sorry for delay! 

An archetype which relies on having less cards on the field than the opponent.

Since there's not much to that idea, you also get: 

A handtrap that can be used during either turn and reduces your LP to zero in exchange for prohibiting a card you declare for the rest of the match.

 

Would you guys prefer it if I gave you archetypes, or cards?

Umm, here: An archetype based off the concept of Bonding - H2O. You gather dragons named after elements in the right proportions, then tribute them using a continuous spell card called Chemical Bonding or something to summon a chemical compound. Has lots of support to make it feasible.

Well, you're not actually required to make any of these cards. They're just ideas that I want to get out there. I think egotisticalghost was the only one who said they'd actually make them.

Though I'd love it if people wrote up some of these ideas! You can just post them in custom cards and then provide a link here or something.

Here's your's: A card which messes around with the turn count and gets stronger the more turns the duel has lasted or something.

Also, I'd prefer an archetype, if you don't mind.

 

Equip Spell monsters. They can either be equipped to the opponent's monster for a harmful effect or to your archetypal monsters for a good effect. They special summon themselves from the Graveyard when you activate an equip spell. They're like Burgesstomas, but the focus is not on Xyz summoning, but becoming more powerful from equip cards.

bring me ideas!

Xyz LV monsters. Each turn, if some condition is fulfilled (like destroying a monster by battle or something) you get to rank them up to the next level (or rank).
