mshends
Normal TrapSend 1 "Phantom-" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to the Graveyard. When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack while you control no cards and this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card in Defense Position as an Effect Monster (Warrior-Type/DARK/Level 4/ATK 300/DEF 600). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, banish this card when it leaves the field. While this card is treated as a monster, it gains 300 DEF for each "Phantom-" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard.
The Highlander
YES, amazing, this card is definitely strenghening Phantom Knights even more, sending the traps for revival and being summonable as a wall against direct attacks ... the stacking might be real and the other traps do protect other monsters one controls, so even more rank 4 action (even though 1 more rank 4 material was not necessary, considering rank 3 is the primary focus). Atypical-Abbie
Interesting, so the ones that can Special Summon themselves are called Phantom Knights while the ones that support them are Phantom- instead. Anyway, it's basically a "Special Summon 1 Phantom Knight from your Graveyard" with that first effect, which is nice, and also is another card that doesn't stay on the field, so Cracked Helm can get boosted as well. Kanashimi
Waiting for R4 Phantom Knights! So this card is supposed to work with Shadow Veil? But this card is better, especially the 1st eff and the last eff.

asterr259
I never liked any deck that revolved around sending stuff from the Deck to the Grave (Lightsworns, BA, Sylvans, etc), because of the luck/autopilot factor, but Phantom Knights is turning into one of favorite archetypes. Makes you really think about what you want to mil and what you want to banish. Well, some people run cards like Dante but you know what I mean; it's not what the archetype revolves around. Anyway I digress. OT: I like it. Honestly I wish PK Main decks were base Lv3 and Trap monsters were Lv4. Only gripe is that the DEF and the DEF boost doesn't seem relevant enough, chances are high that it can still be destroyed. Having 2 of these in grave and your opponent killing one means no R4 plays. My point being there's not much consistency, which is why I run Fragile Armor. Know what PKs really need? A Lv4/R4 Phantom Knight that Xyz Summons during the Battle Phase, similarly to Yang Zings. The Highlander
@asterr259: All Phantom Knights really need is a Dark 2-mat rank 4, which recycles their banished traps while creating advantage.

Blake
The insta-activate one is garbage. The other one is okay because it did what funking Des Spear was supposed to do in the first place. deck still sucks

But my point was a R4 or Lv4 playable during the BP whatever else effect is fine.
