Number 100: Numeron Dragon
LIGHT/RANK1/Dragon/Xyz/Effect/0/0
2 “Number” Xyz Monsters you control with the same Name and Rank
1. Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Increase this card’s attack by the total Ranks of all Xyz monsters on the field x 1000 until the end of your opponent’s turn.
2. When this card is destroyed by a card effect: You can destroy all monsters on the field. Then, each player Sets 1 Spell or Trap card from their Graveyard.
3. When your opponent declares a direct attack, if this card is in the Graveyard and you have no cards in your hand or on the field: You can Special Summon this card.

The second effect only works on effect destruction.

When the opponent declares a direct attack, if this card is in the graveyard and you have no cards in your hand or on the field: You can special summon this card.

They attack, you revive, they kill it, they attack with the second monster, you revive...etc

Right, don't know why I thought the second effect was relevant.

Awesome, No.100!

*reads it*

...WEAK.

It requires 2 Numbers of the same NAME and Rank?! WTF?

No really, that makes no sense from a lore perspective, and it's just stupid from an actual trying to Summon it perspective. Because while this card would probably be solid in a Number spam Deck or something, you rarely ever use 2 Numbers of the same name, period. Only Utopia comes to mind, due to all the shenanigans it has with RUM, the S forms, and No.99.

Detach 1 to boost by 1000 x Ranks, that's how the anime version functioned.

If it dies by an effect, destroy all monsters and both players Set 1 S/T from their Graveyard. Understandable that this got nerfed.

And if you're topdecking when your opponent direct attacks you, you can SS from the Graveyard. That's...not terrible? I mean, the anime had the BS of SSing it from the Extra Deck under those circumstances, so...but the big problem is that No.100 doesn't have any effect that provides battle protection.

Then again, that third effect doesn't seem to have a once-per-turn restriction, so it's SIMILAR to having an infinite blocker.

It's just the Summoning Condition that REALLY sucks.

101 is still a great card IMO, maybe they're pushing that again?

so... number 99 is the best way i'm seeing to pull this off. i mean, if i recall correctly, 99 can drop any number monster to field from your grave, so it'd be a little easier to use that way. not to mention if you drop 99, 100 will hit 10K from the bat. the downfall is that you have to run a hell of a lot of bad cards, but if you want the gimmick, i guess you gotta suffer the weaknesses.

also, raidraptors can drop this hilariously easy by those same standards. they are the only deck i know of that naturally runs rank up magics and could thereby summon all the pieces required with minimal effort were the play to become available.

Yes, although the SSed monster has its effect negated.

Really, this card is best used in a Utopia RUM Deck, because it has the incredible flexibility of the various No.39s, and synergy with the RUMs, plus the ability to spam them in a way that would justify running multiple same-name Utopia to bring this out for massive beatstick-ness.

Idk about you guys by the amount of basic grammar errors in the effect makes me think it was a bit rushed in translation. Cuz lore wise I really don't understand why the two numbers need the same name. That makes literally no sense in the context of zexal, unless we are considering the "treat this card as 2 materials" effects.

Maybe it still needs to be cleaned up
