Judgment of YCM

So this came to me out of nowhere and I was curious was y'all think.

Suppose I live in a 5 story building.  My room is on the 3rd floor of said building.  One day I enter the building and go to the stairs/elevator (they are in the same area).  The elevator is on the fifth floor.  I press the button and then immediately it hits me...

"If I wait for the elevator to come down from the fifth floor just to go to the third floor, I'm a lazy guy.  But if I take the stairs now that I've pressed the button, I'm an impatient guy."

What do you peeps think?  What would you do?

(I'll give my thoughts on it afterwards...)

Taking the elevator for such a short distance is just being lazy unless you have some kind of medical reason to be doing so, to be honest. Also changing your mind doesn't necessarily make you impatient, it just means you came up with a better solution that doesn't require using the elevator's services.

Ok, in response (mostly cuz I knew SOMEONE was gonna end up saying more/less what Dae said), I personally tend to enjoy understanding thought process and judgment (hence the topic), however like 99% of the time, I don't let others' judgment impact my actions regardless.

Thanks for the responses!

Why does a 5 story building even need an elevator?

Cuz carrying furniture up 4 flights isn't fun. Not impossible, but not fun. :-P

[spoiler Borin' Aspects of Myself]In response to Dae's comment... I'm kinda just weird like that. Curiosity gets the better of me, and I like knowing what people think/expect, that doesn't necessarily translate into action. I dunno if I explained it well, but, eh, doubt I'll try again. Honestly, it's an aspect of myself I am only just starting to understand myself...

The only time I ever take the elevator is when I'm staying at a hotel and I'm pulling a trolley with my bags on it. Hell, I don't even need a suitcase to pack for a couple days, so I'll just take the stairs with my bookbag.
