[Casual] Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua

Cause Casual tag-*shot*

EarthboundImmortalCcarayhua-LC5D-EN-SR-1

There can only be 1 "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks. This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card is destroyed by a card effect, except by its own effect: Destroy all cards on the field.

-*insert random shitty talk about how Earthbound Immortals are cool and why their support sucks and how the field wipe is-*

oh, Field Wipe?

Searchable nuke is best nuke.

It's also fun to do something like... let Babyrunix get destroyed, then Special Summon Yaksha, let him get destroyed, and then BAM, surprise Lizard Nuke. The salt is real when that happens.

Fire Kings are too competitive, we need to keep it casual.

Snobbery is too casual, take your hypocrisy out to Pojo

OT: This card is hilarious. This + Fire King Island makes watching Fire Kings a Dubstep track, with the Earthbound being the drop. It still doesn't make the Deck competitive, but it is still quite hilarious

Considering how half the Earthbound Immortals are either ridiculously bad or contradict their own advantages as Earthbound Immortals, and the others are solid, this is one of best Immortals in my eyes.

Being a Reptile has a number of advantages, such as searchability with King and Reptiles in general have some decent support with subpar options to wield that support.

...but I don't remember what Deck I liked to use it with. I think I always opted for Reptiliannes. Hmm...

An amusing interaction this has actually, you can pop it with Offerings to the Snake Diety. Not a good one necessarily, but it's amusing if it ever is warrantabpe to run the two in the same Deck....

You know what's crazier? If its Summon also gets negated with something like Solemn Judgment (and I'm fairly certain its more recent parallels still negate and destroy), its nuke will still go off. It doesn't care where it was or where it goes afterwards so long as it gets destroyed (BTH has nothing on it). There's very little stopping the giant explosive lizard.

I feel like you can only laugh harder when you realize how silly this card actually is and the unintended situations created by this card. It just has so many ridiculous situations you can put yourself in with it. Legit question tho. Can Kozmo R4 enough to warrant this as a tech to OTK with Island? (Destroy a ship then Farmgirl for game)

giant explosive lizard.

I dunno why I found this so funny

Question: If you Safe Zone an Earthbound Immortal, would it prevent itself from self-destructing? (thought being if you Safe Zone this, you'd have a powerful card that nukes the field if your opponent gets rid of Safe Zone)

If you use Safe Zone on your own Immortal, it will still self-destruct without a Field Spell, because it's the Immortal's effect destroying itself (and since it's your Immortal, it's YOUR card effect. Safe Zone only protects from OPPONENT effects).

And if you Safe Zone your opponent's Immortal, it can still attack you directly, but now it can't die by its own self-destruct effect or by battle, so you probably don't want to do that.

Ah, so "Can attack directly" outweighs "Cannot attack directly"? I was thinking making some custom roid support that would let me give Pair Cycroid's/Submarineroid's effect to Barbaroid.

Here's the weird thing, it's your Safe Zone that prevents your opponent's monster from attacking your opponent directly. The "can't attack your opponent directly" is read from your point of view, and not the point of view of the monster it's applying to. So Safe Zone on your opponent's monster will not make you safe from them. (I've learned that the hard way.)

It's not snobbery; it's true.

So wolfbark (+1)->Imps (+0)->Grab EBIC (+1) -> Pop with FKI (+0) -> Nuke (-2+x)

And this is more efficient than just running Sacred Phoenix or Garunix how?

It's a sub-par option, that is funny, as you mentioned, therefore, casual

Opening Wolf+Island can make much better plays
