Vectra
I want to know: which monster you think is better? ATK 2100 DEF 20001 LIGHT Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhile your LP are higher than your opponent's, this card gains ATK equal to the difference. While your LP are lower than your opponent's, this card loses ATK equal to the difference. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can pay 1000 LP; Special Summon this card. ATK 2300 DEF 2000You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Airknight Parshath" you control. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Draw 1 card. While "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field and your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the difference in Life Points. Both cards can serious become OTK's. Especially if you combine either of them with the following equip cards:Cectus of Dagla: Equip only to a Fairy-Type monster. It gains 500 ATK. If it inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Gain LP equal to the damage inflicted. Shooting Star Bow - Ceal: The equipped monster loses 1000 ATK, but it can attack your opponent directly. Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce: Send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; equip this card to a monster. It loses 500 ATK, but it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. Here's my opinionAncient Sacred Wyvern, to me, is better because it doesn't rely on Sanctuary in the Sky. True, it does have the "Lower ATK" effect but, at the same time, Parshath is pretty weak without it's extra ability (meaning, without "Sanctuary in the Sky"). Wyvern can also revive itself from battle by paying 1000LP (Which isn't really a downfall if you have Card Trader combined with Solemn WIshes). Parshath is good because the effect goes to his defense as well which can seriously help defend against cards like "No Entry!" or anything that switches it to defense mode. On top of that, Parshath will always be 200 ATK higher than Wyvern if they are at their peaks as Parshath's base ATK is 200 higher. If you were take take these two with the exact same LP and have them duke it out then Parshath would win hands down whether he had the field spell or not. His reliance on "Sanctuary of in Sky" is what, in my opinion, makes Wyvern much better. Parshath is one of those cards that you can't just throw in your deck like Wyverm. What do you think? Trebuchet MS
I put my vote to Ancient Sacred Wyvern since it doesn't occupy a Main Deck slot, and needs less Main Deck dedication to work.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'd have to give my vote to Wyvern being the better of the two, due to it being more accessible (LIGHT Tuner is the only thing not generic about this, but that's it) and at least being able to revive itself if necessary, despite the LP cost and requiring that you're actually ahead on LP for it to do things; lest it weaken. Parshath doesn't get weaker than 2300 even if LP is low, but is otherwise very reliant on the Field Spell to even do much (including getting the ATK boost in the long run). That, and even keeping the original Parshath to SS this, which I don't believe people even run any more. You don't actually need original Parshath to summon this, but it'll make it faster to summon (outside of other Fairy support stuff).
Vectra
Do you know what else I love about these two? They can beat the crap out of Winged Dragon of Ra. i did it before and I felt really accomplished for defeating it with my Wyvern. I use the original Parshath in my deck. I use him in two of my decks actually.
GarlandChaos
Geez, this is tough. I love both of these guys. >w< If I had to pick though, I'd say Ancient Sacred Wyvern. It doesn't have piercing or the draw effect, but it doesn't take up a Main Deck slot and can gain massive (bit of hyperbole, but eh) amounts of ATK even without a subpar field spell. Oh, and it's a battle floater too, for whatever that's worth nowadays.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Given one is a Level 7 Synchro Monster and the other is a monster that goes into your Main Deck, it's a bit silly picking which is better. I mean, Ancient Sacred Wyvern is better because it doesn't need nearly as much dedication as Parshath, but in a dedicated Deck Parshath would be better for that card draw + Valhalla. The Nyx Avatar
I've used both of these before, and even though I have yet to win with Ancient Sacred Wyvern, at least almost any Deck with a LIGHT Tuner can Summon it. It's just easier to brinv out on the field and not dependant on another card.
