You can only Special Summon “Spiritual Beast Tamer Winda(s)” once per turn.

I am rather split on this card. On the one hand, it seems like a powerful edition, being able to bring out the Fusion monsters upon destruction.

However, on the other hand, it still seems rather slow and odd, depending on your opponent destroying it, rather than you acting first.

So we have a Ritual Beast Winda now, I shouldn't be surprised given Winda was previously a Gusto, though I was wondering if she was gonna be a thing because f El-Shaddoll Winda.

Well, El Shaddoll Wendigo came to be after Ritual Beast Ulti Pettlephin, but we eventually got Ritual Beast Tamer Zefrawendi.

Though, I will admit that this one's stranger in comparison, as she resembles Ritual Beast Tamer Lara more than she does her Shaddoll counterpart/form.

What confuses me is her age.

Kamui was a kid before, and Avance was a teenager/young adult. It's easy to believe that Emilia's aging is either stunted (brought back from the dead) or was influenced by the Nekroz mirrors... So why is Winda back, and why is she so young?

The implication before was that, like Falco (100% confirmed dead before Shaddolling, like hedge and beast), she was dead and her corpse was used by Tierra.

So then why is she alive and why is she young?

Maybe it's a reincarnation, as opposed to the original Winda.

The only possible guess I have is that this is Winda post-purification.... and even then it doesn't make sense. Though, she must have been saved somehow. Maybe an RB S/T will reveal that.

I think the original Winda died during the Verz attack, and Neph reanimated her corpse to become a Shadoll, and this is El Shadoll Winda purified, like how Wendigo was.

Basically Winda came back from the dead it seems.

She's this young because this is how she was when she died, and by relation, when Neph brought her back. She hasn't aged because she's been dead.

She's another name, which is neat, but there's no real way to set her off in the deck. She can summon any of the Fusions straight-up, but jury's out on if she'suseful or not. I'm betting on no, with her slowness, but maybe there will be something to break her.

She's also a Level 4, so there's the possibility of making a R4 off of a URB return. Possible utility, there.

Black IDR what topic it was on, but we discussed Winda's survival. There was some evidence for it. I think Neph fusion?

neph fusion shows the el-shaddoll being sacrificed, which we went over

this is a teen-20s~ winda, despite everyone else aging 40~+ years

they're not the same thing at all

Like I said, brought back from the dead. Its not possible otherwise, unless its like her reincarnation as someone mentioned.

Kamui and Avance are old men now, Emilia hasn't aged much likely because she's technically part ghost, and we STILL have no idea where Reeze is.

I think it's supposed to go like:

Previous DT events -> Winda dies somewhere here -> flash forward to DUEA time -> Winda is revived -> do Doll things -> sacrificed as seen in Nephe-doll fusion -> some remnants remained -> presumably purified by the Zefra after they someone beat Tierra and returns to normal.

The issue is really there's a huge gap between now, the previous set's shenanigans, and Tierra's awakening.

This is pretty good. The main draw is that it's both Spiritual Beast and a Tamer, so opening multiples is good in context of Brain Research Lab.

Ulti-Gaiapelio's restriction now makes more sense.

It's a super upgraded Giant Rat since it can wall up with multiples which encourages people to summon Dweller/Lightning.

Not the case. Spiritual Beasts are "Spiritual Beast Avatar", and the archetype is "Spiritual Beast", for the sake of confusion. This might be very dumb if it was both, though.

?

It's definitely both. The Fusions only require "Spiritual Beasts" and "Ritual Beast Tamer."

There is no such thing as a "Spiritual Beast Avatar" in any TCG translation.

The only thing that would cause doubt is in the actual ORG translation because the TCG name does not include "Spiritual," yet the translated effect text does.

EDIT: Apologies, the text has been updated to reflect that you are correct.
